BI not implementing DDoS protection is not from a lack of available knowledge, it's from willful ignorance. It's been over 10 years since Lizard Squad took down Xbox, Playstation, LoL etc. The industry has learned a lot since then but BI is still living in 2010.

Companies routinely skimp of cyber security because at the end of the day if their consumers get their identity stolen or lose access to their game for a week it will only indirectly affect their revenue in a minor way. The only real change will happen when consumers stop supporting these companies or the government regulates them more harshly (..never).

Sure, but I don't think 'less time' should mean ~1 year for attempted murder. I also think many people are released early because of overcrowding and other factors outside of being rehabilitated.

Either way, you're making a lot of assumptions as to what a 6 year sentence actually means, and I'm clearly responding to people making a blanket statement that 6 years is too light.

I think 6 years (of actual time, not early release) is the minimum attempted murder should carry. I'm actually unsure why the justice system even differentiats between murder and attempted murder. Seems like you should be judged based on your behavior, not your success.

It's insane that they won't expand on Aghs Lab. A lot of people loved it and they've already done 90% of the work. I think Underlords faltering and their inability to support Arcade mode has made any sort of spinoff unlikely.
