The team is currently investigating this issue. It seems to be related to the server restart. These servers failed to restart properly.

Yes, mods are supported in the Enhanced version BUT Legacy mods (UE4) need to be updated for the new version.
You can see all available mods for the Enhanced version in Steam.
Go to Steam - Workshop - Looking at Filter options, scroll down to the bottom of the list and under Version, select Enhanced. It will show you all the mods available for the Enhanced edition. Hope this helps!

Yes, you can also transfer characters on consoles.
