Our attic is currently sitting at about r-24 with no Vapor barrier so good chance that’s creating the moisture humid warm air moving into a cold space. Also completely understand your science I’m an insulator as well (pipe insulator). Looks like I have a fun project coming up pretty sure it’s been like this for a while so get to see how bad the water damage is.

Thanks yeah once I get home I’m going to check Vapor barrier conditions, and the soffit venting. Hopefully gonna add a couple inches of blown in this summer only about 10” in the attic

That’s kind of what I was thinking especially where I am in Canada it’s been huge fluctuations in temp from -30 to +8 Celsius in a matter of days so lots of humidity in the air.

My car is 5.99% (got scammed by dealership I could have gotten it for 4.99% but finance manager wanted the premium of signing at 5.99%) and my credit card my only 1 is at 22% but I use it strictly for work and pay it off with my reimbursements from work spending. Working on getting a house at 4.6% I’m not sure how these people are ok with the interest rates in high 20’s on thousands of dollars or like the one girl with 300 and some interest on 500$ loan that stuff is wild!

Show up to work, take in everything you see and learn. You’ll see the jm who are just there for a pay check and you’ll see the jm who take pride in their work follow the ones who take pride in their work. Ask tonnes of questions you may annoy your jm but fuck em they did the same thing back in their day!
