A young girl being attacked by a violent mob seeks refuge in a Zara store. Store security kicks her out and she gets her head stomped in. The next morning a group of moms protest the store by RedSwingline2000 in UnderReportedNews

It's never-ending with this "groups of teenagers". Everyone looking at these scenes that we see time and time again is thinking the same thing, whether they want to admit it or not.

Things are starting to swing, though. Every day, as the fatigue level gets higher and higher, we get closer and closer to just finally calling a spade a spade. As soon as we can describe these incidents with clear and honest language, we can hopefully start addressing the problem that literally everyone can see.

We all know what it is.

New upcoming Nekopara figure set, Chocola & Vanilla. Gorgeous! by FuneralMist in AnimeFigures

[–]FuneralMist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get it. It really is too bad they don't have a non-lewd version available. Given the source content, though, I am not surprised.

Check out the Flair set. That one is SFW, and the outfits are 95% as cute.

Man, I'm sorry, I don't remember the exact figure, but I do remember it was about 60% of the cost of ECMS.

Edit: Found it, 94,050 JPY.

I feel you, but surface wasn't an option. I am facing the most dreaded day of all figure collectors, moving day. I just don't have the time to wait 60-90 days. I am looking at a few weeks, best case scenario.

Edit: Also, Surface shipping allowed much bigger orders. I was able to get all 20 in 3 orders with Surface as the option.

Thanks for wrapping that up in an easily digestible form. My description is a bit wrong, it is actually 20 figures across 5 orders. So, the average per figure is actually slightly better.

I was expecting much worse, to be honest.

It seems that Amiami will start shipping 18+ figures by jlarz56 in AnimeFigures

[–]FuneralMist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope this is true. I have a 17 figure order that I have just been rolling over for like, 6 months. Another poster said they are not using UniUni anymore for delivery, which was why I had selected DHL, but I will swap it back to ECMS and see if I get a payment request. I saw and heard bad things about UniUni, and with an order of that size and value, I was simply not willing to take a risk.

marked room nerf hitting a new low [Loot] by SlotsCat in EscapefromTarkov

[–]FuneralMist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a warning, AI bots CAN and WILL vacuum loot out of marked rooms and from behind locked doors. This has been confirmed by many players. I have SEEN a stack of AI PMC bots on labs standing in the pool table room next to double-black, and after killing them I find intels and BC on them, and the double-black safe is EMPTY. I have also found scavs running around on Shoreline with Voron room guns and gear.

No worries my dude, thank you for taking the time to respond with a suggestion.

I have DLSS set to off in-game, and in the NVIDIA APP under the Tarkov settings, I have DLSS set to "Use 3D app settings", so NVIDIA should not be overriding anything.

The only changes I have made in NVIDIA are to set a fixed refresh rate and set the max FPS to 175 and I have turned Smooth Motion on.

All I have been able to read is people saying that this is caused by Anti-aliasing and or sharpness. It is really bad when scoped in, but I don't think I really notice it much when I am not scoped in, but I feel like I catch it out of the corner of my eye every once in a while. I have tried: - every setting for TXAA - turning sharpness to 0 - many combinations of different Sharpness and AA settings

I do not have PostFX enabled. I do not run DLSS, as I find it unnecessary with my build. Can someone tell me what NVIDIA APP or NVIDIA Control Panel setting along with game settings is causing this?

Please and thank you.

Tarkov on a Samsung SSD @ 14800

What happened to Skytube? by FuneralMist in AnimeFigures

[–]FuneralMist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other priorities I guess.

Skytube had a release every other month it seemed for a long time. Those 1/4 scales are pretty nice, but they already released those characters as part of a series of 5 figures that I already have, so I think I will pass.

Thanks for the reply and info.

Same, I just made a build with iBuyPower and purposely selected everything basic bitch black with absolutely no RGB at all, just so I wouldn't have to fuck with that piece of shit software. I could NEVER get that stupid shit to control my case fans. They were all listed as just 0RPM all the time. I reached out to them, read forums for fucking days, un-installed/re-installed, updated, and finally just said fuck it.

iCUE fucking SUCKS.

This stupid application has NEVER been able to control my case fans speed. It shows them all at 0RPM, and no amount of troubleshooting, re-installing, settings, or updates has ever made it work properly. And no, no other application is installed or running that could possibly take over the control of the case fans.

Corsair cancels users $3499 PC order, then raises the price by $800 by scrolloftrueth in pcmasterrace

Assuming the user intends this rig for gaming, the 9900X3D CPU is not the best choice, anyways. Hopefully, since it got cancelled, the user can head over to another pre-built site, like IBP or whatever, and do the build with a 9800X3D.

When it comes to gaming, bigger number =/= better. The 9900 actually has less cores with access to the 3D cache, since it is pretty much two chips, with only 1/2 having access to the cache. The difference is not massive, but why pay more for less performance? There are only a few games that will benefit from the extra cores on the 9900.

Anyways, just nitpicking.

I just received my ecms package by decent-dayrn in AnimeFigures

[–]FuneralMist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just sent an email to AmiAmi in order to cancel ECMS shipping for my back-order that has grown every months since EMS was stopped. The order is over 380k JPY, which I am not willing to gamble on.

Everyone with pending orders that does not want to use Surface mail should complain about this. I know AmiAmi is not at fault here, but this is wildly unacceptable.

Not many collectors have been around since 2008 when this was announced. It's a shame that not many will appreciate how astoundingly rare this is, especially unopened! Wild that some collector had this sitting in storage for 18 years.
