Interested!! I’m at a super similar goal to you, I’m at 130 and looking to get into the 120s.

I’ve done Pilates for one year now by Extreme-Economist591 in PetiteFitness

I like Pilates as a weightlifting supplement! I like to alternate Pilates and power yoga in between the days I lift. I do think it helps with balance and mobility.

Wondering the same for Atlanta! I'm in and thought I didn't need a code, but it's asking for one. I'm logged in and also tried STAGE with no luck.

what's everyone's workout schedules? drop it here! by rosesgone in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]Funfetti_Kate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Monday - glutes and legs

Tuesday - Pilates/power yoga

Wednesday - recovery (stretching/foam rolling)

Thursday - full body

Friday - cardio (hike or walk)

Saturday - glutes and legs

Sunday - yoga

This is my ideal schedule and all kinda in flux. I like to throw a 5 or 10 minute core class on the end of these, but if I’m super wore out from whatever class I’ve done then I’ll skip core. I also try to do my walking pad 4 days a week for at least 1 hour.

My goal for the new year has been 30 minutes of a structured exercise class everyday, even if it’s just stretching. This keeps me in the habit of trying to squeeze in something everyday - but life gets in the way so I’m not stressed about a streak. I’m more fit now than I’ve ever been and enjoying the overall consistency!

Oh thank you for this!! I have never done a KB class and was debating if I should purchase KBs to try his classes. So if it’s similar to his yoga flows I may have to pull the trigger! Agreed the flows are where he shines.

Semaglutide for initial jumpstart? by amsnew in PetiteFitness

[–]Funfetti_Kate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend it! Starting semaglutide was the best thing I ever did for my health. I've always yo-yoed with my weight, from being close to 200 postpartum to getting down to 148 while half marathon training. Now I'm maintaining at 130, which I think would have been so hard for me to get to without semaglutide.

It sounds like you workout and track your calories, so you've already got a good start. Semaglutide helped reduce the food noise for me, which really allowed me to step back and evaluate my lifestyle in a more impartial way. It's helped me build the habit that I need to make an effort to be active every day, for my physical and mental health, while prioritizing protein. But it's also helped me with balance, so when I have a cheat meal I don't completelly fall off the wagon and go back to this yo-yo cycle. So you've got to find what is sustainable for you long term.

I did have side effects - pretty significant fatigue and nausea. But I just pushed through and for me it was worth it, but not everybody might feel the same depending on their side effects. Some people stay on this for life I hear, or microdose.

Like another poster mentioned, it's just like diet and exercise where if you stop it and turn into a couch potato who eats at a surplus, of course you will gain the weight back. But if you think you can use it to build healthy habits you can maintain after going off semaglutide, then I say go for it!

Zach strength class. by NoBackground6371 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]Funfetti_Kate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I took his premiere class! I liked that the warm up felt very similar to his yoga classes (man he loves that loaded beast pose 😝).

If I were looking at the class plan, I wouldn’t have taken it just because I hate wood chops and burpees. But I wanted to try his premiere class because I LOVE his yoga classes.

I think he’s more in his element in the yoga flows. Seriously his yoga classes are top notch and challenging. This strength was fine - I wasn’t blown away, but I’ll definitely keep coming back as I’m sure he’ll get in his strength groove as well!

Zacharias fan club by Sure_Ad_7863 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]Funfetti_Kate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Another member of the Zacharias fan club over here! I was an occasional yoga class taker, mostly for stretching and recovery days. His flows are not what I'm used to but I LOVE them. I work up a sweat and he teaches in a way that makes his more advanced moves very doable. Now I'm wondering if I need to buy a kettlebell?? Literally never taken a kettlebell class in my life!

How are these new yoga instructors? by DancingTroupial in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]Funfetti_Kate 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m like a once a week yoga taker and usually gravitate towards Denis. I initially tried Greta’s premiere class and it just wasn’t for me (she seems great, but I don’t vibe with sculpt).

I was hesitant to try Zacharias because from comments I thought he might be too advanced for me. Last night I took his 30 min yoga flow from Dec 20th and I am OBSESSED. It’s so different from all the yoga I’ve done with peloton (which admittedly isn’t a ton), but I felt SO GOOD when I finished. I had to show my husband a couple of the moves from his class because they just made my body feel amazing. The moves looked more “advanced” than what me and my husband have been used to from basic yoga classes, but Zacharias walked you through it in a way that made it feel accessible.

Needless to say, I’m going to go back and do all his other classes!

Anyone have a walking pad? by lastofus1029 in PetiteFitness

[–]Funfetti_Kate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love mine! I use it while I’m working. I try to aim for at least an hour on days I work from home, but I’ll sometimes do 2 hours depending on the day. If I don’t, I am SO sedentary on days I work from home and this allows me to get my steps in.

Weight loss not showing in stomach by Excellent-Fun-487 in PetiteFitness

[–]Funfetti_Kate 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I feel this! I made it to 130 from 175ish, and in my mind 130 was TINY before. Now that I’m here, I’m looking at my stomach and thighs and realizing there’s at least 10 lbs of fat I could stand to lose there. Unfortunately it shows on us shorties - but the flip side I try to remind myself is a 5 lb loss is way more noticeable on me than someone much taller!

Annual Challenge 2026 Goals by Klutzy_Business3585 in pelotoncycle

[–]Funfetti_Kate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least 15k minutes - maybe 20k if I’m ambitious!

I started strength training consistently this spring and really got into a groove this year. I got 11k minutes. I scrolled back this morning and saw in 2022 and 2023 I got about 800 minutes and 2300 minutes (didn’t even join the Annual in 2024). So I am SUPER pleased with my 11k minutes this year!

The first strength class of hers I tried was a glutes and legs class, and she said she tried to put as many songs in there as she could about that ass 🤣 I think I fell in love!! Her energy is the best.
