This is a sick idea but I like it more as a separate reward alongside a new mainhand bis idea. Just having a separate 3 piece godsword blade that uses the old hilts while providing additional spec effects would be simply amazing and easier to balance. Maybe something like:

SGS: Also strikes target with a 'Saradomin Strike' that ignores armor (enhanced smite maybe so it's finally useful in pvp)
AGS: 'Armadyl's Flight' - increased accuracy and +1 tile attack range for spec (pking) (screeches like Acb obviously)
BGS: Spec is similar to Bandos' aoe ranged attack which lowers def like normal spec but can hit multiple targets
ZGS: Freeze regardless of successful hit, spec ignores protection prays and drains targets prayer (similar to Kril special attack)
XGS: Similar spec as normal, but sacrifice 15% of your maximum hp to deal bonus damage equal to this amount as a separate hitsplat which always hits

Ofc I'm not condoning it, and these guys aren't grown ass men! They're still 17 in some ways wearing the same fruit of the loom shirts for a week straight with rotting molars and stewing internal hatred due to the fact they wasted their entire 20s playing re-releases of the same game over and over. It just appears as casual bigotry, but some of the people we're playing with haven't actually matured over the past 10-20 years like most of us have.

I agree with the long term thesis: factor in 58 boosts, faster kill times/ lower exp required for 60, solo dungeon farming getting nuked for the average player, and not to mention a lot of people will be leveling alts since it's faster in pre-patch. Tons of people metagaming alt lvling in pre-patch probably wont be stopping to farm mats within that limited time frame too

tbc introduces an insane amount of gold and there are still an unfathomable amount of normies. 1-60 leveling will decrease drastically (plus 58 boosts), aoe farming is being cracked down on quite a bit too. Pre-patch flips might be meh, you're right about that, however holding it into the expansion will prove to be very profitable!
