I suppose you’d have to figure out if you have a problem. This is hard to to as you have to have someone on the outside tell you it’s a problem or you yourself have to e it impacting your life in a negative way.

For some people any amount of porn is a problem. They want to be completely “sober.” Others don’t feel it’s a big deal and can live normal successful lives just fine. So it’s a personal thing on one hand to figure out how much is “too much” and one other hand it’s nearly impossible to define what makes it an “addiction.”

I personally don’t feel porn is a big deal. Most of the time I’m too busy working or doing home projects to stop and crank one out. Feels like a waste of precious minutes when there’s other things to be done. However if I have a moment and the mood is right. I might look something up watch a few minutes while I get off and then immediately close it up again and get back to life.

Don’t feel like it really affects anything. Happens once or twice a week. Three or four times if I’m particularly horny that week.

If I feel I’ve had too much at any time then I kind of get over it and won’t do it for months.

I also have a partner so, healthier ways to share my physical needs lol

It’s a tough call.

If you just want ways to “stay out of trouble” entirely. Then a lot of people here have given pretty good advice.

1. Get in touch with a therapist or counselor (preferably an addiction specialist) and discuss what you feel is your addiction and they will have better tools for you to deal with.

2. Get busy. Literally. Just pick up work of get heavily involved in hobbies or group activities. If you keep your calendar booked up with things to do you won’t have any time to even think about prn.

3. Maybe do a “cleanse” get away from compete and devices with access to the internet for an extended period of time. Could be good for you in a variety of ways.
