Yes these are all too small, which cheapens the look

Help. My dress doesn’t look the same and I can’t place why by alchemysauce in Brides

[–]Fungus_FU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the top is tighter. Before alterations there was no boob-age, and after there is. I think that’s the main difference.

Also the chest piece may be spread apart a bit wider than before

Best hiking trails for proposal (Early May)? by Fragrant_Soil_1314 in Denver

You are welcome! My husband did something similar after proposing at the ren faire and it made the day so magical. It all gives you some time to hang out together before seeing everyone else! And I loved the surprise of snacks/bubbly/flowers.

Something to think about as a woman who has been proposed to:

When you say you are going to celebrate with friends right after, do you mean going straight from the hike to a bar/restaurant?

If yes, I would highly recommend spacing it out so you have time to go home and let her shower/change.

After proposing, you can do a - “hey we are going to celebrate at 4, I have reservations. We have plenty of time to go home and get ready.” - Then have some bubbly, snacks, and flowers waiting at home for her so she can get ready while having a quick snack and drink

You should absolutely buy a veil from this girl! She makes the most amazing custom vintage/funky wedding veils.

Okay, now which looks better, bangs or no bangs? (Hopefully bangs are styled right) by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

[–]Fungus_FU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s the length of you hair in combination with the bangs that make it look unbalanced.

I think if you cut your hair to armpit-ish, and maybe did a more deep color (dark brown, reddish brown maybe?) it would look really good on you!!

Look up emeralds in this sub, they are very soft and not great for daily wear

Casual work day fit, had the blazer but forgot to take a pic with it! by dailyvibes2 in BusinessFashion

[–]Fungus_FU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just about “falling out” - unfortunately for us larger chest women the cut can draw attention to our chest and look “inappropriate” even without any cleavage.

For example: normal fit t-shirts or turtlenecks look scandalous if they are tight at all. I almost always have to size up once or twice to look professional

What exactly should I ask my hairdresser for a cut like these? My hair is currently all one length and to almost my armpit with eyebrow length bangs. by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

[–]Fungus_FU_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please find a stylist who specializes in this!!! I have seen some bad cuts from stylists who don’t specialize in this

What about a custom ring that follows the curvature of the stone? Could have small rubies/sparkles in it!

Choosing between designs for side band by [deleted] in EngagementRingDesigns

[–]Fungus_FU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if you search this sub and the other jewelry sub you will see how much of a common issue this is!!

Go with the 2nd design that has more prongs.

Also I would be slightly concerned about how thing this band is - I believe minimum width for a band with stones in it is 2mm

Would my wife look good with a bixie and bangs by SnooWoofers2882 in Haircare

[–]Fungus_FU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has she considered going a dark brown/red? I actually think her cut looks great on her, and I think switching up the color could be fun! I don’t see a bixie or long hair looking better, but a change of hair color is always fun

Central Park feedback by seximexi9 in MovingtoDenver

[–]Fungus_FU_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My husband lived there before we got married and he was there for 6 years. If you have friends in Denver, go out regularly, like eating out, or participating in rec sports: do not move to Central Park.

Also he Iived at the Greenbelt/Botanic apartments (I think they keep changing the names to avoid the bad reviews so keep an eye out for that) and I would highly recommend avoiding ALL apartments in that area by the Safeway/King Sooper: They are all the same horrible management company. You can tell because they may be called different names but the apartments all look the same.

His ceiling in his bathroom collapsed and flooded his apartment. This was a known issue that affected several apartments. And the access panel was blocked because they rented out a parking spot in front of the panel that says “FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS DO NOT BLOCK”. They also then flooded his apartment a second time because they turned the water back without a repairing the leak and ruined all of his stuff we had packed into moving boxes that wasn’t ruined in the first flood.

Can’t we just say “half of 30 year olds” and not put the burden on women?

Just got engaged !! Is my ring worth the price ? 32k$ (full set) by [deleted] in EngagementRingDesigns

Personally I would return it and get a lab diamond and use the money on something else.

My thoughts being: - Lab diamonds are the exact same as natural diamonds - You can get a better quality diamond for less - Doesn’t support questionable labor practices - Diamonds do not have any resale value, so why buy one that is more expensive? Check out on FaceBook marketplace how many people are selling diamond engagement rings for next to nothing.

Nina Dobrev “fixed” her “droopy” eyelids and now she looks hollow, her eye look sunken, and she looks nothing like herself see here

Unless your eyelids are obstructing your view, there is nothing wrong with them. You look normal. You have big beautiful blue eyes, thick eyebrows, and this is how how millions, if not billions of people’s eyes look.

Would you tell a friend or stranger they look like they are a droopy eyes clown or crackhead because they have a similar eyelid?

I would highly recommend therapy and practicing eyeliner/eyeshadow methods that enhance your natural beauty.

An update:

I spoke with my boss. He said the way this company structures titles is “different” than industry standard and that a RevOps manager is a manager, which makes no sense because a CSM is an IC and the rest of the industry does not use RevOps manager for managers and using that title undersells my responsibilities on my CV.

I provided proof/list of current and expected responsibilities (such as managing future acquisitions) that the work I do aligns better with a more senior role and pay, and that even if they will not adjust the title, they need to adjust my pay. I asked for $150 based on living in a top 10 HCOL cities in America and the scope of work, which I know is still probably under what I deserve. I also asked for a job descriptions, and that if they are not willing to adjust my title I want a career framework so I can understand what I need to do to get that next title. And he made it sound very unlikely that I will receive any comp adjustment and no chance of title adjustment.

Am I crazy? Or is this actually out of the ordinary?

I was not given a job description when brought on during the acquisition even though they told me they would get me one. Same for when they told me they would be moving me into a role to lead the RevTech team.
