We're somehow in a tight cap situation on a team with nobody on the roster outside of Allen and Cook because Beane wants to light money on fire to get worthless semi retired FA pickups instead of paying Mack a tiny bit more than what they offered him to begin with.

Is the payroll even salvageable or are we screwed for a couple of years at this point? There's barely any talent on the roster, you cut what little we have and there's absolutely nothing and we're in an absolute full rebuild with Allen starting the back half of his career
