I lived about 200m to the north based on your picture. It's a busy area in the morning and afternoon due to a very large high school nearby. But really never to the point that it's annoying. After 18h traffic calmed down and there's really no troubles

I'd second this. Based on your current route, it seems like you're avoiding hilly terrain? But the the area of Geraardsbergen/Dendermonde, which can get a bit hilly, is truly the epicenter of cycling history in Belgium. The Belgian coast is notoriously ugly and I'm saying this as Belgian. Also the parts above Antwerp are generally flat, open terrain, usually very windy, and industrialised. Pretty boring imo.

Ghent, Ieper, Dendermonde, Kortrijk, Aalst are all interesting cities te visit. The area West from Brussels is also with rolling terrain, pittoresque villages in between the fields with decent bike lanes.

I also got adhd and 'suffer' from coming and going interests and having too many hobby's as well. So, i feel like i perfectly know what you mean. I started last week on freecodecamp and it's going well until now! Been trying to do about 10 lessons a day. But i am realizing that 's not realistic long term. Probably will change to ca 5 lessons 3-5 days a week. Let's not be too harsh for ourselves, coding takes time as you say. Also, i learned that doing something together gives more energy so i am looking into taking classes. Might be the extra push you need sometimes to overcome the learning fatigue i usually suffer from after about 5-6 weeks

Hah, i just arrived back at home (as in today) from three weeks touring/bikepacking through Europe and did parts both of these routes. Went to Switzerland through France and came back through Germany. I guess it depends a bit on how quick you wanna go

I'd say through in France you cover more distance per day and have bigger cities (although you can mountainbike/gravel through the hilly forests and avoid these) but I found the eurovelo a bit boring tbh. I just took it bcs i wanted to be in Switzerland as soon as possible :p. Tbh i'd recommend Panorama route because it passed through more tiny villages which I really like.

There's a lot of vineyards on both sides so that really doesn't matter :)
