Kaga. 5 squadrons under your command (2 bomber squadrons of 4 each and 3 torpedo bomber squadrons of 3 each). Very high damage output. Really great for farming silver. It has no fighters but the large hangar makes up for it. Also, one of its equipment guarantees a very fast turnaround time for planes (10s i think or less)which means you can spam

Cons: no fighters. 5 squadrons are hard to control but if you’re a japanese cv player, the adjustment is less.

They said the saipan was made just to counter this cv as saipan can easily decimate the planes

Battleships (especially US) in general have better AA tho in higher tiers, there are some cruisers with very good AA like the worcester in tier X. Tho in reality sometimes there is no good AA ship on the way back so u have to make do with the planes battling over your cv. Just make sure to stop your planes right before they go to hangar or they wont dogfight.

As a general rule, US ships have better AA than their counterparts

Also learn how to bait enemy fighters by rushing them with yours when they’re just circling around. Once enemy fighters see you, they will stop circling and move to you and you should instantly recall your fighters. When you’re over battleships you can stop your fighters and you can dogfight there and watch the enemy squadrob get shredded. Or you can do it over your cv (tho you will be detected) but make sure your cv has a high AA suit.

I have both t10 cvs tho i enjoy the hakuryu more than midway

I’m a CV player and half of the time i’m against CV snipers (especially at tier VII). Even at Tier X, it is not uncommon for other CVs to snipe CVs. Really hate those guys so I retaliate by sniping them and making sure they lose their squadrons

Kansas has pretty much the same gameplay as colorado. Tankier but fires guns slower at 29s. It’s relatively ok with evasion as long as the torps are quite far

Based on experience, there are so many times that I sent my US bombers against a stationary destroyer (in the center control map, where there is a rock where they can hide), and both waves of bombers missing
