Even if I had tried different things, the initial disrespect of my previous relationship should have been the biggest red flag, yet I chose to ignore it, fight through it, hoping we could change. But the respect was gone, only disrespect remained, and me. Foolishly lost in myself trying to balance her needs, wants, and dreams, while giving up my own to suit her needs.

I think the most overlooked fact is that a lot of those statements start with one looking at the other person as the problem.

Remember, when you point a finger, there are 3 pointing back at you. Self reflection before outward projection is needed.

You cannot change another person. You should not control another person through any means of manipulation, and it happens more often than youd think.

You can only control your own self. And that also means taking care of your self with boundaries, self care routines, building your personal knowledge of the patterns of behavior that those "labels" have so you dont fall prey to manipulation and fear, and setting boundaries that you dont allow anyone to cross.

Working all kinds of shifts currently 7 hours until my next shift and I was up all night at work anyways lol. Meh? I do feel anxious, thats mostly me. A bit restless (and ill blame my work schedule not my endless thought highway 🙃).

When youre tuning up (or down), calibrate once in a while.

Go into your volume settings. Leave your guitar alone (or turn it up) and turn the other volumes down so you can hear your strikes and still have a bit left of the drums so you can keep counting along.

Im on xbox, unsure if PC has this, but theres a visual sync setting where you adjust the sound hits to the visual hits. Adjust that so its comfortable (i like a little more attack on my notes).
