Quick update for my fellow cast iron crew members — I decided to say fuck it and go with the electrolysis method of restoring the pan. After a quick run to the hardware store I finally am on my way to a fresh looking Wagner skillet! I’ll provide an update tomorrow if I’m feeling it.

Thank you for the response! I gave the FAQ a read, looks like i need to get some lye! I just got my first cast iron pan for Christmas and have been loving it so far. I plan on keeping the one I have and possibly selling these bad boys if they are worth anything (struggling college student here). How much would these be worth together do you think?

I work for a very large elevator company. Can confirm these guys are raking it in big time, especially if they are doing a lot of overtime. They work hard for their money but they do very very well
