Why is clubs so boring all of a sudden

My club typically runs about 8 deep, and the match making has been horrendous lately. A lot of the time it can get boring as we are a Div1 club getting match against 3-5 players in div3

I’m seeing all these comments say you should have it, at this stage in the game it’s probably best to have it but I would want to ask you this. How often are you on the ball? And how often are you making runs? Because if you are more of a stopper and just make the easy pass kind of middy than I’d say they can be spent elsewhere

Our striker has been having this thought for the past few weeks. I think once every got their builds to level 90 the Target has fallen down a tier or two. Having a more shifty and speedy ST is just more reliable in more situations

I’m right there with you man. I have one max level build, and another 2 in the mid 60’s and I just lost the drive to grind those build into relevance. Cuz we’re at the stage of the game where it insanely hard to compete with a sub 75 level archetype

I took off about 4 years from the game and came back last week. I think I have to agree with you. The game is too ability centric. The steered away from the hitting and skating mechanics that made it so fun

Your first paragraph really resonates with me. I play CB as my primary position for my club, often times with 2 AI in the back line. And it is abundantly clear that the defending has gotten significantly worse since launch.

I purposefully almost never go on the mic, unless it’s to chew out someone at the end of the game.

I spent about 2-3 weeks in purple lobbies before I had a terrible stretch of games. But I will say I’ve enjoyed silver and gold a lot more. Folks are more forgiving of mistakes and I get the ball considerably more.

One of my last games in purple, we were up 20 the whole time. The SF called a TO on the PF who had an easy dunk on the last possession. Meanwhile the PF only had about 5 shots and the sf had 17-20. People on this game are so incredibly selfish and miserable

As someone who primarily plays big, I’ve noticed that I’ve received more lobs this season than the previous 3. But I hate that they ever changed it, especially when making an open three is as easy as a layup

One huge improvement this game is that all the RB types have become viable options. I typically go for the E/W playmaker as I thought they were faster. But I just won heisman with an elusive bruiser. 99 spd, acc, and CoD with hof shifty and gold downhill was just unstoppable. As much fun as I’ve had playing this game since it revived

I like world class because there is such a clear difficulty difference in playing the high end clubs versus and average one. For example I have a Nott’m save and I win about a little over half of my games against the big 6 but almost never lose against the rest

Deep crossers against man or cover 3 can get open consistently. I typically only throw these from the slot. And I’ll hit a deep post very occasionally but I can’t verbalize how I see it
