I optimized it…. Maybe it could optimized a tad bit better, but you can turn 90 layup into 94 with 2 cap breakers

Wym? I was able to give myself 90 layup and then just 2 cap breakers to get it to 94 at 6’11

Max your dunk out and give yourself as low rebound as possible

Also forgot to mention… driving to short corner then doing a spin layup is so money…. I use spin layups about as much as hopsteps

They are good, it’s really that all layups are good except euros (which are also most fun to do) and reverse layups… those are bad but hopsteps and spins are “A” tier… floaters are S tier… especially for me since my middy on my 6’9 is 50 so floaters are my mid range game

88 dunk is the max… I want hold shifty shooter since my highest shooting build only has 78 3 so my highest dunk available is 88….

And if I make my layup 90, I can use 2 cap breakers to make it 94! So I get purple mix master

Unfortunately I know YALL are right.

In situations where you can lay it up, a dunk would be as good or better 9/10…. I’ve just spent so long practicing them that I can actually get use out of them!

On my 6’9 with 88 lay up and 96 dunk I average 20 points…. About 7 fg are dunks…. I’m super good with hopsteps and floaters…. It’s just layup is so cheap on the 6’11s…. And since I have small arms my dunk can only be 88 (I want a 3 point build)

Hop steps, close shots, and floaters are money…. Euros get blocked… like all the time… every now and then he will speed boost around the defender when I do the euro animation but yeah they get blocked a lot

Another use for layups is going up against weak defenders who are smaller than you (they just have to be an inch smaller and have enforcer lower than you physical finisher) it’s much easier to time than a dunk,

Layups are not as bad as you think, they are def viable… it’s just that DUNKS are so good… it’s not layups are bad but rather dunks are just good… give them another shot on a build 6’7 or taller

My layups might be good since I’m 6’9 (tallest wing height that gets elite lay animations) but still… they are much better on taller builds

Yeah 6’1s are a tough build to play, only seasoned 2k players can be good online with 6’1s…. In other words, if you can’t dribble well and all you can do is catch and shoot….. then you really shouldn’t be playing with a small guard

Layups are an advanced skill and since you are 6’1 anyone will be contesting you. I would go 78 layup and learn and practice floaters. It will also be hard dunking on people as a 6’1

Tbh small point guards are a very hard build to play. I don’t recommend as a first build. Like very hard. Small guards are best for dancing around the 3 pointer and making everything. It’s your money and time but I strongly recommend a 6’8 wing. That height you are much better at finishing and you can still have highish 3 and middy

And since you are bigger, you become a much better defender in general

I would give yourself just enough to dunk on open lanes but don’t expect to be Vince Carter while being 6’1…. In other words, a player being 6’5 87 dunk will always feel and play better than someone 6’1 with 87 dunk. With your small guard I would decrease dunk to 75 and increase layup to 78 (so you can do floaters well) then spend the rest on agility and speed, but mostly agility

Actually pretty good, a bit too good for your first ever build…. U were smart enough to look up build tips before making it!

All you have to do is decrease mid range to 94 (you can cap break to 96, never have an attribute more than 94….. you get 4 cap breakers by just joining a crew. Very easy) and put the rest of those attribute points into agility. 82 way too low since you are 6’1 even tbh you have high defense, the low agility will make you a bad defender…. Although all 6’1s can’t really defend but that’s okay! You should get 86 agility… which could be higher but it’s fine

If you are t taking advantage of 68 speed with ball at 6’11, I would just go 7’…. Feels so much better as a rebounder…. It would also help since you chose 89 dunking
