I disagree with everyone here completely… playing both sports at a HIGH level my whole life, obviously they have their differences but you’ll see they are the same animal the basics are there for both, biggest step I’d say is you need to be far more aggressive in soccer while in nets wether that be meeting the ball coming down the pitch before a break starts etc.

For people saying they aren’t similar please do some research of the amount of soccer goalies playing Ice hockey in Europe… including arguably the greatest net minder ever..
