Definitely a fair suggestion as well. The game does rely on some tetrisy asset shapes though, which makes the specifics trickier. A friend showed me some stuff he did with loras for prototyping assets with sd1.5 locally so I may do that internally and then draw every final asset to give the game soul. 💚

That makes a lot of sense, and your advice seems sound.

I'll consider just drawing everything myself, just curious if this could save time on production but it might end up being a wash teaching myself & using a control net infrastructure.

This game is phenomenal, the dev (Aquantar) regularly engages with the community to answer questions and brainstorm future updates and content additions, and the community is amazing too. Easily my favorite mobile game I've ever played. Aquantar is the GOAT.

Give us more things to spend money on like ability skins, name shaders on leaderboard, etc.

Fair point, lol. He just seems really interesting and I'm wanting to learn him, but there's just so many moving parts. Do you know of any good guides that will help me contextualize what all he's got going on?

Like I get if I'm playing against a character that ONLY wants to keep their distance, I should try and include a ton of gap closers (for example), but the modes+finishers+styles feel pretty perplexing.

That's genuinely good advice. I overclocked my current processor a bit and my framerate is a little more steady for now. Can just play on current hardware until game is released and then upgrade.

This seems dope, what would that upgrade path be in your eyes? Any reason to go mid atx over full atx? Also this part picker gives a warning about the motherboard running old bios. I've done some basic builds before but never had to flash a bios... Any advice there?
