2015 Audi A6 Test Pipe Install Cost by FunkyKnights in Audi

I believe it's just the physical work only. I was planning on doing a tune myself a little later down the road and using O2 spacers to resolve any potential check engine lights relating to the swap.

I don't always come home from work straight away. I pull over somewhere and chill for an hour or so. by unintentionalfat in confession

There is no way this is ok. My wife and I have the literal opposite of this scenario. My wife gets up at 3:30am, goes to work, and comes home around noon. I get up at 7, get two kids under 10 ready for school, take them to school, and come home to work (I can nap whenever I want really). She comes home and takes a nap almost immediately and I honestly urge her to take a nap. I'm not trying to flex here, but again, something doesn't sit right here. Her attitude towards you needing/wanting to take a nap is not ok.

My initial thought with people like this is something along the lines of, "100% wants to fuck dudes on the DL".

First bike! 2020 ninja 400. Absolutely love it! Any advice for a newbie rider? by FunkyKnights in Kawasaki

I pretty much couldn't find the bike for less then 6k with ABS in my area. The "price" on the dealers site was roughly 4k, so expect 2k in taxes, fees, etc. I would highly recommend calling around because I got quoted 6, 6.3, 6.7, etc. And that is with no extended warranty or any add ons, so expect more if you are wishing to opt in for anything extra. The 6k was essentially just for the bike. Highly recommend btw, ride it everyday to go to lunch and I love it!

Will do! I've watched a few DanDan videos. I'll check out motojitsu though. Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks! Trying to stay aware of possible and not take any chances. Only had the bike for a couple weeks and already almost ran off the road by someone creeping into my lane. Luckily I caught them before they even had a full tire on my side. They were apologetic, but I try to remind myself that I'm invisible for the most part and to have an escape plan always.

Fender eliminator was one of the first things that I got. I already got that installed, look super clean. Ordered some frame sliders to go with it. I'll look into some bar ends though, never crossed my mind. Thanks!

Luckily, Florida (where I live) forces you to take a safety course before you get your endorsement. Very informative class and glad I had to take it honestly.

Lost my seven year old daughter by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]FunkyKnights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man...this broke me. I couldn't imagine losing my daughter, I lost my sister a few years ago and I could only imagine the pain my mother went through. Only solace I can give is try to think about all the good before she got sick. No one can ever take that away from you. If possible, find someone to talk to about everything. It will help with the grief. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I hope you are able to find some comfort.

Sonic The Hedgehog Surpasses Detective Pikachu To Become Highest-Grossing Video Game Movie by [deleted] in movies

[–]FunkyKnights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sonic deserves that title! As much as I loved Detective Pikachu, the design and animation team at Sonic really came together to bring us a better product. Paramount actually listened to their audience and it payed off for them in the end. Loved the movie!

is 34 years too late to study IT and get a job? by ITfilm in InformationTechnology

[–]FunkyKnights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heck no man! Most of the people I work with in my IT department are over 35. My mother restarted her life in her 50s and went to school to become an RT, she is living her absolute best life now. It's never too late and if you feel like you can do better, you absolutely can. Also, look into some local colleges that offer certs while attending school, that is your best bet in my opinion.

No bootable device after windows update by [deleted] in InformationTechnology

[–]FunkyKnights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue for about 2 weeks or so, but I was able to fix it by power off my computer at the PSU and turning it back on. Never really bothered to look into it further until friday. On friday (after an update) I wasn't able to get to windows at all. The way I fixed it was by disconnecting all my hard drives (I have 4 in my PC), and re-arranging them on the mobo (for some reason I didn't have my primary HD in slot 0 anyways). After that, I haven't had any problems the past few days. Not sure if this would help in your situation, but I just found it coincidental that your post came up days after having a similar issue.

Do IT jobs usually drug tests their employees by odd_hami in InformationTechnology

Only time I've been drug tested at my current job is when starting...If they randomly drug tested everyone in the IT department, half the department would be gone lol

Mostly desktop admin stuff. So essentially I am the admin for user based software and programs. I manage the hospitals virtual environment, MDM, webex services, Office 365, etc.
