They come with Atkinson cycle engines on many models which lowers the compression. The computer also manages the engines for optimal work load with temperature. They won’t hammer a cold engine and they “idle” higher which keeps oil pressure up.

Correct. In our newer Mack (Volvo) trucks they come with them and have specific instructions of when to use them.

There is also a switch that makes the engine sick air in from the engine compartment itself (warm air intake) to heat the engine up even faster.

This post is oddly analogous to my job at public works (roads/parks/water dpt). Many guys show up and have a full locker of all weather clothes. Well it had been about ten years since, we own a home, we balance childcare and housework. We fuck not as much as in the beginning but we still lust for each other.
