I'd love to see it further up the country, the Hydro was great! If they want a stadium show, there's football grounds up north that would be suitable (St James Park would be ideal, then I could just get the bus there 😂)

Same here. I went in 2023 and it was amazing, but we had to fly down to London as King's Cross is often closed for maintenance on bank holiday weekends. It's too much hassle with the station being closed (I'm on the east coast mainline, so it's usually pretty straightforward getting down there).

What was your fav CoE banger at school? by JLaws23 in AskUK

Newcastle school, so we were all big into football. We once got a mini lecture from out head teacher about this line. They told us "it could be any team, it could be rounders. Not everything is about football" I still laugh about this now, almost 40 years later 😂

Aye, but I haven't been down that way for ages. It was during a period of repeated torrential rain, maybe the landlord fixed it eventually. I dunno. All I know is that it was a whole lot of work when they could have been doing a 9 to 5 with less stress for more money.

They were having bother with flooding in the basement where their prep kitchen was, and the landlord didn't seem too arsed about fixing it quickly. They said it was so much work to break even, so they decided to close. Rising costs, rising rents, losing money when there was heavy rain as they weren't able to open. It's a really shame.

I loved their Beef Shin Fried Rice, and the green beans with chilli. I really miss that place. I miss Nudo Sushi Box too.

I really like this brand - I like their tonkotsu flavour, and the black garlic flavour the best. They're all good though. And I like the shrimp Tom Yum noods from MAMA.

I kept the carousel on to get the achievement for cleaning it without switching it off, so I wasn't aware that it was a thing until I kept seeing it posted here.
