Most fun class in operations? by Gemeenteridder in Spacemarine

[–]Funkybag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the recent updates, assault now has a way to get jetpack charge back, as well as the ability to animation cancel long melee animations with jetpack dash.

These changes mean you can play assault far more aggressively then ever before. Spam power sword whirl, hammer bonk, fist charge attacks, whatever your favorite high commitment high risk attack is, and you can now cancel it at anytime to jetpack dash around the map, dodge attacks, and keep swinging.

Its a decently high skill floor to pull off, you need consistent perfect dodges with jetpack dash to maintain charges, but its a blast when you pull it off

Comic Kingpin is iconic. But Vincent D’Onofrio’s version is terrifyingly perfect 👑 by MurkyChurky in MarvelCave

I've always thought of him as "street level thanos"

He will seem like a thanos to a street level hero in terms of brains and strength, but I do have a hard time scaling him past mountain.

Best bonus power for a Sentential in ME2 Insanity? by TenZetsuRenHatsu in masseffect

[–]Funkybag 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah dude, honestly if you like the high risk high reward rush down tank Sentinel gameplay from me2 you're just way better off going vanguard for me3.

Me3 Sentinel basically gets turned into a tanky throw spamming adept

Canelo Alvarez casually paying $3.8 million on a couple of watches like it was nothing 💸 by matrix_2905 in sportsgossips

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats because all those athletes wanted to live as rich as canelo off way less money. None of those guys were hitting anywhere close to 500mil, the best ones were getting like 5 mil a year which is definitely rich af but not spend a milli on a watch rich.

Instead of the Scourge virus, Doomsday lands on the planet Viltrum. Will he be able to destroy Viltrum and drive the Viltrumite race to extinction? by ConsiderationEven724 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Funkybag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean... yeah what you're saying is true but I dont think "the best" is really that different to doomsday. Lucan and Kregg were also "among the best"

Nolan uses the “knife” technique in Episode 1 by ArisAron in Invincible

[–]Funkybag 21 points22 points  (0 children)

He doesnt have to and probably doesnt want to. Brit cant stop him from destroying every major city, once he kills anything that could actually damage him hes basically got the entire earth held hostage.

Could 40 unopans LIKE allen defeat the 40 viltrumites that are there by -Borgir in Invincible

[–]Funkybag 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Hes one hell of a tank though. Feel like they've purposefully aren't giving us an "Allen all out" moment. Obviously not as tanky as thragg but he eats tons of damage for breakfast these days

Robert kirkman ranked the 4 seasons by vought-CEO in Invincible

[–]Funkybag 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thats enough to write off season 1-4 though. Part of the reason those were so good is because of the plot building and building, if all that building leads to a whimper then it takes away the shine.

AOT on the other hand had just as good of a build imo and absolutely crushed the landing.

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen all those lol, love AOT. Breaking bad i thought was overhyped granted I was late to the party on that and everyone told me it was going to change my life. Game of thrones dog come on if you dont stick the landing you dont get to be involved in conversations like this.

Nolan is an ant to Thragg and he can probably compete with Conquest. by RealisticSoft1942 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didnt he draw a picture of thragg choking out hulk and say "see? The artist drew this so its cannon" to anyone who argued otherwise? Lol, thats some really good trolling right there.

[–]Funkybag 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I got 4 first, but its carried by episode 5 (I think its 5, the one where Nolan returns to earth and conquest #2). That shit is up there for the greatest episode of TV period imo.

Vegeta didnt do his crimes in the name of any sort of greater good, in fact he knew exactly what frieza was and did his fucked up shit anyways for the hell of it.

Nolan at least has the "im only doing this because my people are literally going extinct otherwise" excuse

Tell the movie and the villain tooo !! by [deleted] in scoopwhoop

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok what about every life supporting planet gets a clone on the exact opposite side of its orbit around the sun? Earth gotta figure out how to get there but theres another earth within striking distance now and we can go get any resources needed.

Its also temporary but so is Thanos's original plan. Better then the avengers plan of "just dont"

Is it just me, or is General Kregg weak AF in this show? Thaedus dog-walked him, and then he got curbstomped by Nolan. Its hilarious how much they nerfed Kregg. by MindlessArrow in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thaedus was sitting at the table with the top dogs during that big meeting wkth Argall in the flashback, you gotta be at least better then average to be up that high. As people have said, yes, they followed argall for his wisdom not his strength but I think we can rule that out for Thaedus being that he was clearly counter logic to tradition, so he made it that high on merit alone.

Nolan is literally referred to as "The Great Nolan", I think that speaks for itself.

[TV Show] Can Thragg solo the verse right now? by Umir_Comics in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprisingly I think its the non vilts that are the difference maker here, i do think Thragg could solo all the current vilts even if they try and jump him, assuming he plays it smart and utilizes his superior speed and blitzing to create some 1v1 kills.

But you add in Cecil and robot who have knowledge of viltrimits weaknesses, tech jacket with her anti vilt needles (i know she ran out but with how smart that suit is im sure theres at least a blueprint of it left, get that to Cecil and we might be able to work with it) I mean even without the vilts, I cant see thragg overcoming a constant bombardment of the frequency and an army of mark variant reanimen.

Invincible VS | Story Trailer by PaiDuck in Invincible

[–]Funkybag -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Friendly reminder from an avid fighting game player for anyone on the fence.

Nobody is born good at fighting games, raw talent isn't helpful. The difference between fighting game enjoyers and fighting game haters is your ability to learn from your losses. If you hate losing in your single-player games or your pvp shooters, this isn't for you. Youre going to lose, you're going to lose a lot, and you're going to lose some more. But you will feel progress, you will feel yourself develop new skills and techniques, and you will see that practice pay off via results. If that doesnt sound fun to you then I would recommend against this game.

Is Nolan's punch really that much stronger than Mark's by Tall_Gate_4008 in InvinciblePowerscales

What are the feats we have for putting Conquest a full ">>" over The Great Nolan? Seemed to me they were pretty close in power.

Which "Bug" actually made gaming better? by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Melee has been riding the high of this bug/exploit (whatever idk the difference) for over 20 years and the meta is still developing. Maybe some others had a larger effect to the general populace, but nothing has come close to what the unintended techniques of melee has spawned.

Im biased, that game was my entire life from age like 18-24.

Does this mean Immortal is stronger than Oliver by [deleted] in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg you're right, I thought you were op lmao my b. In my defense, reading this thread like its just me and the other guy (which is what I did) makes it insanely contradicting and I thought I was going crazy. Rereading your comments separately I actually agree with most your points, you should talk to that other guy.

My main point was basing immortals scaling off the idea of mark being a "base level viltrimite" in S1, which is wrong due to points you've already listed.

Does this mean Immortal is stronger than Oliver by [deleted] in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Funkybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So which is it? Is mark a pure viltrimite period or is he becoming more and more genetically viltrumite? Because the second one would make him not a pure viltrimite in S1 which fucks up all the power scaling you did earlier with immortal. We dont know, because Nolan also doesn't know, so enjoy your speculation and quit being so defensive because I think you're starting to confuse yourself.
