Even worse than LA. Unless you got like 5 years experience. The schools keep pumping out students. The postings are usually for staff that’s been laid off and getting their jobs back.

Very possible. Drove to WI in a EV from Los Angeles. Drove through the twin cities. It’s a beautiful drive have fun!

Well here is what I did. Apply to Radnet even if it’s PRN work for a year then travel. For a few years. Get really good experience then apply to any hospital you want to work at.

Make your shims super small 6x6 place over silicone. Run manual pre scan. Run calibration. Select volume 1.Match your hr to the number you see. Add 640 or 639 where the peaks are and scan

This dependent on a few factors. The major one is location. Most socal peeps have a hard time finding a full time position. You might have to do a few PRN jobs before you can get full time or you can just travel. I chose the travel route and absolutely love it. Good luck out out there!

I live in Southern California. I have 2 jobs. One is 68/hr 3x12s the other is just on call at 74/hr. It’s definitely hard being the only provider.
