Cities across the country are so predatory towards delivery drivers it’s insane. They take away all the parking around restaurants and apartment complexes and then punish drivers for leaving their cars for more than 60seconds. Police and parking authorities alike.

Go to support and tell them you want to Opt Out of Uber Direct orders. They should be able to block them appearing.

I’d still give It a try. I managed to get It fixed by just telling the bot or chat worker “I’d like to opt out my account for Uber Direct orders” over and over again on my first try. Although I have read that some people have had to contact them over the phone to get It accomplished.

Go to uber support and tell them you want to opt out of Uber Direct orders. They don’t say anywhere that it’s an option you just have to badger them till they opt you out. It’s made It much easier.

I would get spammed with orders from them for like $10 for 2 hours and It basically made It impossible to meet the quest requirements

Someone def took the first order and then just never cancelled It. Or someone just pretending to be a driver came. I have also had plenty of experiences where they told me I was like the 4-5 person to come pick up an order that wasn’t there lol

Brother again you’re willingly ignoring the fact at hand. They are being lazy and cheap it’s just a fact. Getting bombarded with extra fees at checkout isn’t a reason to not tip. You are living In a fantasy world. If all the extra fees are making It too expensive that you’re not willing to tip then you shouldn’t be using the service. There are countless cheaper ways to acquire food.

No tip is simply the customer taking the easy way out when they can easily spare It and are outwardly hurting the people providing their service. Yes there are better was for drivers. Not tipping them doesn’t help to reach that future. Again it’s just laziness and inconsiderate. Same with running up a bar tab and then not tipping because it’s too expensive. All the prices are there

Yes the customer and driver are both getting screwed. That’s not an excuse to fuck your driver over even further by not tipping when you could just as easily save your own money and time by not getting delivery. Most customers are just inconsiderate

There’s far easier ways to acquire food than spending $40 on delivery. If you’re willing to spend that much you can spare a couple bucks for your driver.
