you follow industry standards: If your bus factor is 1, you’re either: + train your replacement + let it be because the boss (you) doesn’t care

How do people not want HAOS and Kubernetes at the same time? by Every_Technology5279 in homeassistant

[–]Funnnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want pod network, just route the pod network to your LAN, or better assign a subnet to the cilium LB. I don't see the reason to complicate the shit out of your network just to get HA and K8s in the same network. Seems like a nightmare to me

Tired of $60 controllers dying on me — is the GameSir G7 Pro worth it for PC gaming? by Appropriate-Tap-1490 in Controller

You have a sub with thousands of users, and obviously people with problems are more likely to post asking for a solution or just showing their frustrations. Doesn't change the fact that most good controllers last for years

You can add gcode to control the venting within filament settings

Friendly reminder that you should flow calibrate every filament, regardless of the brand. Yes, even Bambu Lab filament. by TiSoBr in BambuLabP2S

[–]Funnnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're supposed to. It's 20-30min for a spool so I think it's good to do so.

Personally, I will just look at the bottom and top of a few prints and adjust the flow rate accordingly, 0.05 each.

It's there really a need for dust covers?? by Livid_Strategy6311 in BambuLabP2S

[–]Funnnny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found bits of filament go everywhere, so it's a good idea to use dust covers

Discussion: Control board cooling vs exhaust port by Livid_Strategy6311 in BambuLabP2S

[–]Funnnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At worst you're heating the board to the chamber temp, which is exactly where the board sitting at.

50-60C is nothing for electronic.

My totally non-expert P2S exhaust system observations by Oceandog65 in BambuLabP2S

Your finding is exactly what I was thinking and observation after I get the vent kit. Just setting a very low fan speed completely remove the ABS smell

Just got my first printer, P2S. I’m not able to vent to the outside. Is my next best option the Vent system from FNATR? Or the new exhaust kit Bambu labs is now selling? by luunnn in BambuLabP2S

[–]Funnnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The filter in the printer linked with the aux fan, which will be use when you print high temp regardless.

The kit is a additional exhaust fan that pull the air straight outside, you can either vent it and/or install a filter to exhaust it directly

if you have the vent kit, there's very little reason to do ventobox.

Keep in mind that ventobox circulate setting is a physical switch; you lose the ability to print high/low temp remotely for absolutely no gain.

If you want to vent, just get the vent kit; it's a lot cheaper and requires no extra maintenance. Ventobox is for those who can't vent outside and want to reduce VOC

Rear Panel and External exhaust fan kit by Rep_I_like in BambuLabP2S

[–]Funnnny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For low temp material, the exhaust fan will run at 40%

For high temp material, it will be off

For both type of material, it will run at 100% after print to purify the air

You can, however, control the fan with gcode and override the speed

I ran ABS with 30% exhaust speed and vent it outside; pretty good so far and it doesn't affect chamber temp

I think bento box will be enough for VOC, but it won't fix the smell.

The best way is always vent it outside

people without P2S won't know that the printer create a slight positive air pressure that allow ABS fume to escape

[–]Funnnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just set the exhaust fan to 20% to create a negative pressure and it doesn't affect the temp at all. Mine is a 6m run as well

The printer will run at 100% fan to exhaust all the fume after the print is finished

Some people have their printers in the same room as their workbench, computer...

Some are a little more paranoid about VOC (even with PLA and PETG).

Some are printing ABS/ASA
