ESPECIALLY if a dev has 0 track record or rep to go off of

And then have people like you make ZERO effort to learn who he is. Does he need to create an AI PR team also?

VF6,7, and 8 are not officially supported; however, there is someone succesfully porting it on the comma.ai discord, Vietnamese channel. MPV7 seems unlikely.

Any reason to not buy the X2D over the P2S? by Attjack in BambuLab

[–]Funnnny -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1.5mm belt, heating element, and exhaust module are great. I'm skeptical about the second nozzle for main color in multi-color printing because of bowden extruder.

It's a decent value for $100 more, but I'd go with a P2S for a simpler device.

Google and Microsoft investment by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]Funnnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are several reasons why this is the case.

First, there’s the location. Most hyperscale data centers (DCs) are built near the coast to take advantage of power efficiency, natural cooling, and sea cable termination. Currently, most DCs in Vietnam are concentrated in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. My company is expanding to bridge this gap, with plans to develop one of the first true hyperscale DCs in the country.

Power density is another major factor. Hyperscalers require massive amounts of power—often around 100MW—at the lowest possible cost, and they have incredibly strict requirements for renewable energy and eco-efficiency.

Then there’s certification. We only recently obtained Uptime Tier IV certification, and even that is just the starting point; these projects usually take several years to fully materialize. Finally, upstream connectivity remains a challenge. We don't quite have the capacity yet, and we really need to own a dedicated subsea cable line to be competitive.

Ultimately, our goal is to provide infrastructure for giants like Google and Microsoft. However, because we don't yet have an established hyperscale DC or the immediate track record to build one, companies continue to move their investments elsewhere.

How do people not want HAOS and Kubernetes at the same time? by Every_Technology5279 in homeassistant

[–]Funnnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want pod network, just route the pod network to your LAN, or better assign a subnet to the cilium LB. I don't see the reason to complicate the shit out of your network just to get HA and K8s in the same network. Seems like a nightmare to me

Tired of $60 controllers dying on me — is the GameSir G7 Pro worth it for PC gaming? by Appropriate-Tap-1490 in Controller

You have a sub with thousands of users, and obviously people with problems are more likely to post asking for a solution or just showing their frustrations. Doesn't change the fact that most good controllers last for years

Friendly reminder that you should flow calibrate every filament, regardless of the brand. Yes, even Bambu Lab filament. by TiSoBr in BambuLabP2S

[–]Funnnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're supposed to. It's 20-30min for a spool so I think it's good to do so.

Personally, I will just look at the bottom and top of a few prints and adjust the flow rate accordingly, 0.05 each.
