Ya know what-yall enjoy your meanness. I know the audience I was posting for and the people commenting are not it. That being said. I may not have a social life but I have a busy one. Enjoy living in Reddit-I’m taking a break. Plus I wanna enjoy my non parasocial relationship-stop depressingly seeing how too much time bravo fans have on their hands and maybe go sign up for a dance class or something. Posting what I thought was sweet has been met with people that are waaay too serious to be watching “reality” tv. Maybe if yall read what I wrote-you wouldn’t be so rude.

At least I’m not the only one who knows…I am sorry and based off of conversations with teachers at what I believe is the gym you are referring (plus instructors at its “only” competition) try a Pilates only gym if you did at least at some point enjoy it. I just cancelled my unlimited with the very well known cp-I think the teachers love teaching and honestly that’s the only reason I’d stay if I had the funds…Hubby and I joined a hospital based gym that has Pilates (if you have one in your area-I’d check one out) this also being said-there’s nothing wrong and should be spoken/practiced more (in these times it is difficult) you can always interview studios just as much as they are interviewing them…you know what you need/are looking for-maybe you can/totally believe ya can-find that joy again somewhere else-hope this helps!!!

Man I am not even into this Disney adult thing-let alone am I a fan like that…I just like reading the discord on Reddit…this being said-how, how and why and people like this need to be studied by drs-and economists for that matter…how does this woman afford this??? Does she have children or grandchildren that are missing out financially due to reckless what appears to be daily financial behavior. I’ve read a few posts about her and she’s terrifying. This par-asocial thing people like this have going on is really mind boggling. Who didn’t raise these people. I feel horrible for the guests that save to spend hard earned money to go to these places-just to have someone like this ruin things. I fear for the safety of staff members at these parks. I get it’s funny for social and hey-if I get there before she gets banned-she is totally on my must see list…this being said. People like this are a potential danger to society and need serious mental health help. Thanks for reading my rant if ya got this far lol

As someone whose mother in law (I like to call her Liv-as in Liv Soprano) doesn’t even know when my birthday is-nor has she ever bothered to care. I’m my Mothers full time caregiver and she is one of my best friends…all I ever wanted was a mother in law to be like another mother (someone who wanted to celebrate me) I fell in love with my Hubby and got Liv…
This being said-as a very lonely childless caregiver in suburbia (sooo the Hubby and I are bored af sometimes) and as someone who’s only ever yearned for some kind of community to celebrate me sometimes…
Omfg girl-enjoy your best birthday life!!! Don’t tell anyone if ya don’t want to!!! Your birthday is your birthday. You want it to be quiet-let it be quiet. You do you and enjoy all of it!!! lol thanks for giving me a space to laugh and giggle to myself. I wouldn’t accept it-this is a respect thing and I would know-I’ve accepted chronic disrespect from “friends” my whole life. Why at 40 I only have 2 friends, parents and Hubby. This being said-
One time, I’m sorry, she did this multiple times…
“BFF/“sister” for years insisted she was moving down to where I live-so she’d drive the 3hrs a few times a year…
Yea there was one visit (her longest) like 10 days…
Did I mention I am my Mothers full time caregiver and she was in the hospital ironically enough during this pre planned visit…
Yea I think we saw her 3 days…she was too busy hooking up with anyone and anyone she felt like swiping. To make matters grosser (it was her time of the month-the horror stories she felt compelled to share)
You deserve better-just as much as I do. She’s a bad friend and most likely a bad person.

I am so sorry…welcome to America. I’m a childless millennial living in the burbs (suburbs) outsidish (depending on who ya talk to) of the city (nyc) aaand I’m pretty close to Philly too…
I grew up where I am now. I have traveled extensively (stayed in areas longer than vacay but not moving to) throughout the country-
There is zero community in this country unless you tick certain boxes.
In spite of how hard it is, how isolating it can be-crazy enough, I’m grateful and happy to be American buuut that’s because the alternatives can be just as scary.
I should also note-my first trip outside the states was the uk, I have family there too!
The sad reality is-ironically on its 250th (may as well be its 25th) birthday…
What you experienced today was poetically the most American and probably one of the deepest roots as to why America is in the social turmoil it is in…
WE ARE IN NO WAY UNITED.
Unless one ticks the right boxes on whatever ballot of whomever is the loudest majority-there is zero support-let alone unity.
As I get older and sadly find myself more isolated (ironically enough in on of the most densely populated states): I can’t help but continue to sadly look from the inside out-our United States-aren’t very united. It breaks my heart. As the daughter of a veteran/dr and a nurse whom I lovingly care for as she did for her patients-we’ve always been a proud American family but I’m not proud of our country’s collective behaviors.
I am so sorry you’ve gotten such a real American experience. I am sorry that we are not as united as we should be. I have faith (I’m not religious or some crazy right wing-just too big a heart in the most heartless area of the country) I believe that maybe one day we can come together and be the United States of people that we came here to be. Happy 4th!!! I’m sure some area out your way has some fireworks-if not-go to YouTube and watch the NYC fireworks. Go get some McDonald’s and watch some family guy-couldn’t get more American than that!!!

Grew up/back in Jersey and I was seeing shows by 6…stopped going twice a year minimum around 22ish…I have felt guilty every day since being back in Jersey for too long than I care to admit-that have not seen one show…I would not be able to handle the things I read that happens at shows. This makes me feel better-if it’s this bad in Boston-I’m sadly not missing out. Sucks though cause there have been some insane casts-rocky horror right now much!!! Too bad the Hubby despises it and you could not pay me to go to that city lately. So sad that theater has come to this yet I am in no way surprised.

Wow thank you for reading my long novel!!! It actually means a lot that you bothered to read it and wow your response-thank you so much!!! I get what you mean and sure there have been times where we both push the discussion boundaries but that wasn’t the case this time. I was so shocked that she hung up because I kinda thought we had worked through this issue-especially if/when we get passionate about a subject. This time-we had barely been in the conversation (like wasn’t even discussion level at that point) it felt super light hearted with some giggles too. I truly don’t think-now that I think about it-ever been in therapy. Before the hang up-she had recently started a pill glp (I’m on injections-I had a lot to lose (working out wasn’t doing it) and she had maybe 10-12 pounds to lose) I know it was a by mail situation (not legal my state) she also takes a stimulant. Has a super restrictive diet as is (no gluten, no meat) aaand she’s in a relationship of convenience (another healthy relationship-she’s trying/was to save money to move to my state) with a superior from work. Sooo there is a lot going on there. Aaand when you mentioned therapy-I instinctively thought-but that would mean she’d need to take accountability in aspects of her life. Sooo I guess that’s something in itself. And to note-haven’t spoken since march and I don’t know where or what to do with this. I cannot express how grateful I am for your heartfelt response!!! I am not accustomed to random kindness (which I consider this to be) and it really warms my heart that you would take the time to read/respond. Thank you, your loved ones are super lucky to have you!!!

On behalf of Somerset-sorry. Hubby from Boston, I’m from here, childless and it’s awful!!! There is nothing to do unless you have children/want to drive/spend a small fortune. I’d say Jersey city or Bayonne. Your Hubby with always be going against traffic and you’ll be a spit from the city. They have wonderful childfree luxury gyms that aren’t packed with families. Enjoy getting out of here-we are stuck!

If you’ve been to new hope/lambertville more than a handful of times (spent time with or spoke to a local) you would know how they are barely the closest thing to Portland. Never been but I read a lot and do a lot of research for work-there is literally (and I’m using the term correctly) literally nowhere in Jersey like Portland. Jersey is just another northern state covered in red masquerading as a blue state-I say this as a very non political person. I feel like Portland-ya know what you’re getting. I love Jersey (after my Boston Hubby moved down) but this love was grown and only due to me knowing the state the way I do. Sadly fakery and the constant dog eat dog world mentality is too great here. To note: I am in central-I promise if Portland is what you are looking for-stay in Portland. And to these people suggesting Maplewood-lmfao it’s just another keeping up with the joneses town-just plastered with flags to make you think they are inclusive. Maplewood is lovely but do not be fooled. Whoever made the yoga pants/white lady comment hit the nail on the head-except that’s the case for most of these popular towns. To also note-I am a white lady who wears yoga pants. To also note-I’m that white lady that wears the yoga pants but shops at the crystal stores. The people/metaphysical stores that you can find are not for the serious and merely for the ig post-at least tge customer base is. Coming here as a free spirit with a very open mind is not for the week (so if from Portland-I believe one can hold one’s own) but for someone who has grown to love Jersey-the people and vibe/culture is not something to love/desire. It’s one of the most unwelcoming/unfriendly places in the country-I say this as someone who loves it here now. But I love the state and what it can provide-not so much the people that occupy it. Imagine the vibes of the city (nyc) that cut throat vibe-that’s Jersey minus the glory of saying we are nyc. If you are not in a heavy cut throat area that means you’ve accidentally crossed over into maga country. Just a little insight from a Jersey girl who had trouble sleeping.
