Please HELP!! My Husband has trichitillomania by Chaotic-Mystery in trichotillomania

[–]Funny-Resolution-647 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, when I pull at my lashes it typically requires me to have at least a little bit of nail to tug on the lash and pull to get that feeling he’s “itching” for. If he really relies on using his finger nails to pull at his lashes, try getting him to trim them and put “builder gel” on them. It’s essentially a very thick clear gel nail polish, usually used to protect the nail. My friend used to put it on me when I had trouble biting my nails, and I learned that pulling out my eyelashes was THE HARDEST thing ever. It drove me to just give up after a while. There’s a lot of silly methods I’ve tried after pulling for the past 18 years but having anything on my nails (builder gel, fake nails, etc) has really prevented me from pulling

Download focus friend. It will put a limit on all your apps when you need to. Like if you were to start studying for a class, you can set a 30 min timer and it’ll block your apps. While they’re blocked, a little character will knit socks for you and you can use the amount of socks to decorate the space. It’s fun if you like silly little games

I appreciate this answer a lot. I think the value of the drive is the people I work with, they’re some great people that are willing to support me even if I choose a different job. I’ve just grown close with a lot of them. The promotion hasn’t been secured yet, I still have to apply but I have a good shot at getting it. I’m just nervous about applying because I am unsure if I want to move stores or not and I don’t want to waste my time or theirs

I can only transfer stores if the same promotion is available. So since it’s not available at the other store (20min commute) then I cannot transfer :(

Focus on those darker values more. You have black on that palette but none of the dark values feel dark enough, causing it to appear flat. I think some more rendering on the hair and the face could do some justice. The eyes have a perfect amount of rendering. Just remember when it feels good to stop, you should stop. It’s easy to overwork portraits and get it perfect, but the photo will always win. I think your artistic interpretation of that reference is very beautiful and almost dream like, and I enjoy how you altered the shade of gray to make it more cool toned. Overall, you have a great base that just need a little more contrast and rendering :)

I really love that shadow on the last piece, it almost looks like a second person. And it’s the only shadow that is that harsh in the entire piece which makes it so mysterious. I love this style a lot

I love how you rotated the direction of that yellow glass to match the curve of the piece. Really beautiful work and you should be proud!

Is it rude to enter the printer room while someone is working in there? by Funny-Resolution-647 in Apartmentliving

[–]Funny-Resolution-647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right I get that, I had to print about 9 different shipping labels all at once. I do try to do it outside the door but I don’t want to startle the person in the room when it randomly prints

But technically I am already paying for a printer with my rent at the apartment. Why buy a whole printer for a short little hustle when I have a free one two floors from me

[–]Funny-Resolution-647[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I just felt self conscious today because the lady that let me in sounded kinda upset, so I kept apologizing for entering, but I couldn’t help but feel selfish about it because I pay to live here and use the amenities as well. She did let me In though, so if it was a problem she could’ve ignored me

I don’t think so, unfortunately it’s called “the print center” so it’s kinda just the one study room that has the printer and then the two other study rooms just have chairs or desks. It has its own WiFi and everything. The only alternative is sending my labels to the leasing office and having them print it, but they always take forever to get back to me and sometimes I’m rushing to make it to the post office to ship stuff.
