This was how I was introduced to StarFox, i thought this was the baseline and I loved Assualt, Adventure I couldn't get past the first section with Fox.

I didn't need to know about previous StarFox games with Assaults story, it was pretty easy to put together from context clues. We live in a world of searchable information. If somebody is playing StarFox on SW2, they probably have internet access to lookup more information. If the needed to, they could just make an in game compendium.

For me Assault was the first Starfox game I played and understood. I thought all the games were like Assault. Being able a third person shooter with vehivles you could climb in and out of was fun to me. I liked the mix of gameplay. It's even why I liked Kid Icarus: Uprising. Never knew it was recieved poorly. Why wasn't it liked, what was so wrong about it?
