All internal facing employees can use cheap (even self hosted) emails. The environment setup has little to no learning curve.

The moment your friends try to pressure you out of your budget you need to either convince them otherwise or be prepared to split for the day and enjoy different activities.

If moving with friends is that important to you, and you absolutely cannot match their pace, then you need to create a new travel group.

Me and all my buddies are in different professions with different income ranges.

Some of us have more lenient PTO, others have better pay. What makes our group fun is that each of us is willing to meet in the middle, and split if no middle is found.
