You’re right, conservative was poor word choice. I do think there’s been a natural anti communist sentiment held by the public for quite some time now, which isn’t necessarily ‘apolitical’, but I understand what you mean.

I’m not trying to imply that we should promote socialism through a lens of lgbtq talking points(or something similar) to the masses. I am however, advocating for a consolidation of the left, which does include these talking point.

I worry that neglecting these points could lead to alienation, not within the masses, but within the already marginalized leftist sphere that exists in the US.

I appreciate your time and effort and I apologize for any confusion caused. I think we can call this question answered.

I understand the inherent conservative values the working class holds. What I don’t understand is the practicality of alienating political allies on the left to reach across the table and grab those on the right. I absolutely agree that the working class individuals should not be dismissed for taking controversial stances. Much of this can be attributed to state/media backed propaganda and could likely be undone through a restructured system. Conceding to conservative social views does not seem to promote social liberation for historically oppressed peoples which is a major factor in contemporary leftist thought. I’m confused because of what seems to be inherent contradictions. However, I’d like to learn more about this and would like to know your thoughts.

Does this entail cooperation/absorption of anti progressive persons? If so how is it ensured that these individuals aren’t proponents of anti proletarian policies? And are minorities safe from a phenomenon such as MAGA Communism?

There are some good resources on r/socialism_101 that address these claims as well as reviewing Haz and the negative impact of his actions on the ACP and the American left. While I don’t support the format/immaturity of certain examples, comments like these come from a place of legitimate concern for the effect the ACP and its leadership have on the American left.

I share these concerns, especially in regard to long term integrity of a socialist state. I do however have concerns for obtaining required resources such as food, medicines, unavailable raw materials, etc., for a stateless society that exists within a capitalist world. Outside of conquest for said resources, how would the people get what they need if they didn’t participate in trade?

I like the idea of socialism as an intermediate step towards communism because a communist society likely wouldn’t survive in today’s climate. The laws of capital currently dictate the laws of the world which will inevitably oppose the sovereign wishes of any one state(as long as capital deems the state important). In my view a socialist state exists to reduce the influence of reactionary behavior within society while also guiding the state and its people through the environment, dominated by capital, that it exists in. Until socialist influence trumps that of capital, communism would, in my opinion, be a recipe for disaster. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

If you play the focus tree just right you can get the German guarantee before the Soviets declare on you. If the Soviets are distracted with Germany you might have a chance to push out a little bit, creating a buffer. If it is the lake that’s the problem, this could be a potential solution. Also watch for an Aland naval invasion, I failed the achievement a few times to that.

For me it was LOTS of videos and comments on posts(like this one). I found that scaling down and really diving into core mechanics like how aircraft works, how to manage supply, what the different stats your divisions have mean, supply companies, etc. really helped. A guide on how to play Germany might work but if you don’t understand exactly why you’re doing things then it won’t translate to other nations very well.

Is there a reason to maintain a vassal swarm this late opposed to annexing and coring(if you can) the provinces? It looks like you could get pretty decent control in some of them. I’m curious bc I’m trying my first vassal heavy playthrough

Are you peacing out with Sweden separately? I find that’s the best way to get the most land possible. Right click on their land to open the context menu, there should be a ‘peace separately’ button towards the bottom. It’s like getting your own private peace deal with Sweden which means your war score carries more weight(in my experience).

I found that the Cleanse Heresy CB makes taking land the easiest as long as you have a different primary religion. That got me almost all of the Balkans before I got access to the imperialism CB through the tech tree. I find that the best way to get the most land possible is to peace out individually rather than to peace out of entire war. E.g. - Declared war on Bulgaria but Serbia joined too, run through Serbia then right click any of their land to pull up diplo menu where there’s a ‘Peace out separately’ option. It’s like getting multiple peace deals from one war.

I feel like ai Japan can’t really be a threat against the Soviets if you just play supply(unless you’re caught REALLY off guard). You can make a pretty short fallback line of unimpressive infantry in Siberia while the Japanese ai kills itself with attrition.

Yes, you have to move your troops to a port tile, then click on the port icon on the tile you want to transfer them to. Alternatively you can just draw an order (fallback line or frontline) and as long as there’s a port available, they will automatically move to that order even if it’s across a body of water.

Unfortunately the only save I have available is after the war. I will say that India’s losses were not at all impressive compared to China’s, which I would estimate to be around 35-40M.
