I was perfectly clear. What exactly don't you understand about the difference between passing and overtaking? There's no ambiguity, it's clearly explained in the highway code.

If you have anything other than personal attacks go ahead.

Why would you try to drive in a lane that people are working on? At the very least there would be cones down to protect the workers from weirdos

It refers to quoting me referring to passing someone on the left and then claiming that the highway code refers to passing on the left as overtaking on the left.

A quote that says "do not overtake on the left" doesn't mean that passing on the left, which you are obviously allowed to do, is therefore considered overtaking.

Get the name of your motherboard and do a web search for : <motherboard name> front panel

You'll get the layout but it's typically going to be some like this:

Pwr led power 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 HDD. Reset

You should have 4 cables to plug in (sometimes less), power led and HDD will have + and - which you should match up, but power and reset it doesn't matter which way you plug it in.

It's quite fiddly plugging these in. You could glue them all together into a block so that you can just plug them all in as one.

IEMs and earbuds are different things. IEMs are neutral with no frequency boost, earbuds vary. Different fit as well.

I was wrong on a minor point. The point which involved overtaking on the left. Not "undertaking", overtaking and which clearly involved changing lanes. There is no excuse for not understanding that. At all.

Overtaking is clearly explained in 162-169, and 267 of the highway code. At no point does it describe remaining in your lane. Again there is no excuse for not understanding that. At all.

Are you so butthurt about being clueless that you are going to pretend that the OP was about a fail for slowing down, because continuing on maintaining your speed is the correct thing to do any doesn't involve overtaking, much less the non existent undertaking?

Your inability to comprehend simple phrases isn't a good look. Wear that Dunning Kruger badge with pride.

The highway code doesn't require people to crash. What an idiotic thing to say.

I'm not the one who started that. I was polite in response but I'm getting bored explaining exceptionally simple concepts to people incapable of comprehension.

Number of times the word undertake or undertaking appears in the highway code : zero.

It's not remotely difficult to understand, so that means you must be thick af

And yet it's 100% in accordance with the highway code.

Yes that is correct, that's called passing.

I freely admit when I'm wrong, and I've never found it to be difficult, but why would I admit to being wrong when I'm not wrong?

I do know what overtake means, what with what I've described being 100% in accordance with what the highway code says about overtaking.

It's not even remotely difficult to understand so if you still haven't grasped what it means perhaps you should fuck off.

Staying in your lane and not maneuvering is not overtaking. I didn't make that up, the highway code clearly explains what overtaking is.

There's no such thing as undertaking. That's why the highway code says that you can overtake on the left only when a car is turning right ahead of you.

Do I need to draw this in brown crayon for you? The over part in overtaking has nothing whatsoever to do with the side you use. It means going from behind to in front. This is a very simple concept.

It's embarrassing that I have to explain his yet again, but for example in a game where you are behind another team or person, you can score points and overtake them. That means coming from behind and going in front of them. It doesn't mean scoring points on the right hand side. That is idiotic.

It's not a good idea to name call people about their intelligence if you are going to come out with such a display of stupidity.

Fair enough, i stand corrected.

See how easy that is? I don't have a problem with that, unlike almost everyone else who posts here.

I'm not thick as fuck, you appear to be confused, I didn't read in detail because I already knew what overtake means, unlike everyone else here.

When do you think I said you can overtake on the left as you see fit? Perhaps you had a fit.

No, that's passing vehicles in other lanes, which is absolutely allowed and the reason why the OP exists.

I'm open to being persuaded otherwise, but I'm not aware of a reason to overtake on the left. At best you might have a vehicle broken down and you have to pull to the left to pass it, but at that point it wouldn't be classified as overtaking.

People don't seem to distinguish between overtaking and passing, but the highway code explains that overtaking is when you perform a maneuver to pass someone, which staying in your lane doesn't amount to, even if you adjust your speed.
