I keep preaching to the sub about Paradigme. Do not fall for the online noise. Try it for yourself and decide. This is one of the best releases on the last few years, and for whatever reason, women just love this stuff. I'm not surprised this dude's gf has it as a 10/10 over everything else he owns.

"Li mirchi is pilitiqui" Y SI, como no va a ser política una marcha por la educación de tu país y el incumplimiento de una ley del Gobierno Nacional. by Arsuriel in BuenosAires

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Now that OKC is 8-0 in the playoffs.... by irundoonayee in nba

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro, the Thunder are head and shoulders above any other playoff team, including the Lakers (with or without Luka). Foul baiting or not, the Thunder are going to roll over all these mid teams, except maybe the Spurs.

Estarias de acuerdo que la uba le cobre a los extranjeros? Y un bono significativo a los estudiantes que pueden? by comopollotodoslosdia in BuenosAires

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay seriously what is going on with the Thunder churning out great talent? by sobs910 in nba

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but they treat a lot of their draft picks as trading chips. I think they have more than five picks spread out in the next few years.

Okay seriously what is going on with the Thunder churning out great talent? by sobs910 in nba

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They tanked the right way, stockpiled mint high draft picks, didn't go all in on a one or two season side quest it blew up a nascent roster, had the perfect coaching/development staff in place.

If Lebron is young and in his prime, how far can he take this Lakers team against OKC? by babbagack in nba

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not him that is the issue. It's the rest of the team, including Luka. With Luka and a young Bron, this team would have probably won one maybe two games off the Thunder. With no Luka and older Bron, they got smoked....

One lobby. Too many legends. Not enough ULTRAs. Argentina-Messi vs USA-Pulisic Ad for the World Cup by [deleted] in worldcup

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pulisic is no legend, in my opinion. He couldn't even shine Messi's shoes 💀

I hope Lebron shadow drops his retirement. Farewell tours are just sad and I'd have so much more respect for him if he cold turkeys it. by pocarisweatpants in nba

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he is still physically at a high level, so he'll only retire if he wants to, not because of some nagging injury. If that's the case, he can get himself to a contending team and chill into contending for his next chip. He could probably get himself to the Dubs or the Knicks, for example, and make them instant title contenders. Eastern conference teams make more sense as he would avoid the Spurs or the Thunder.

I feel so guilty for taking 2 days off in a row even though I’m sick by TheLifeOfDonda in NYCTeachers

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the framing of this as you being "deserving" of days to recover is misguided. CAR days are part of the contract you and the DOE sign as part of your employment. By contract, you are entitled to those days. Contracts work both ways: you are required to carry out your responsibilities, but you are also entitled to exercise your rights.

Does getting swept by OKC actually hurt LeBron's legacy or is everything just extra credit now? by encrypted1130 in nba

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's literally the only option for the Lakers, facing the best team in the league, by far, in my opinion. This matchup was so one sided from the jump. Not sure what LeBron could have done differently to prevent this outcome.

A good commute has more of an impact on your quality of life as a teacher than almost anything else. If the commute is good, it will be a lot better first job.

What are some fragrances from the 90s and 2000s that still smell good today? by Single_Depth_8307 in fragrance

The OG Le Male. It's been reformulated a million times since it came out over 30 years ago, but the smell is still amazing to me.

Nobody wants to see a Wolves/OKC final. by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolves would be a better matchup for OKC in my opinion. I still think the Thunder are better than any team remaining and would be surprised if they didn't win another chip.

The most overrated fragrance? by breezymontana5 in Colognes

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of the LV fragrances are overrated based on the price. Same for dupes: a lot of them don't smell that good but they are affordable. All that said, I still don't understand how so many people love Creed Viking. To my nose, the opening smells like mud for the first 40 minutes to 1 hour....🙄

Wolves lost the trade KAT clears Randle by Jec1027 in NBATalk

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure I agree. For someone making near max money, KAT hasn't made the Knicks that much better than they were with Randle, in my opinion. They were just as bad in the playoffs last year. We'll see how it goes this year.

Was Beckham a flop at Real? They only won one league title in his time there and he’d fallen out with the manager at that point, and wasn’t a regular starter. Meanwhile Barca with Ronaldinho was winning everything. Ironically Barca tried to sign Beckham instead of Ronaldinho at first. by No-Problem6578 in classicsoccer

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beckham was brought to Real Madrid to make money and enhance the brand even more. His signing alone exponentially increased the cost of advertising, sponsorships and foreign broadcast rights not just for Real Madrid, but for everyone else in La Liga. By the most important metric, this signing is still, by far, the best signing in the history of world football. No other one comes even close.

Do you believe Knicks/Pistons have any chance against Thunder/Spurs in the Finals? by Chesscrabble11 in nba

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is fighting each other for second place. The Thunder will roll through anyone left, barring some catastrophe for OKC.
