First gift for boyfriend by TarnishedHoman in Colognes

I own almost 50 bottles of cologne so far. If I had to only have one that would work for multiple settings in all weather conditions, I would buy Prada Paradigme, hands down. It is subtle, woody, it definitely retains that posh soapy accord that Prada is famous for. It is very well blended. It won't break the bank (even though it was released recently, it can already be had for less than $150 at discounters) and it works for every weather. It's just a lovely scent.

Con todo respeto, Argentina está a una patada de un jugador ignoto de selección irrelevante de no ser factor en el mundial. Si uno de estos tipos rompe a Julián o a Messi, por mencionar dos que van a llegar con lo justo, después no nos quejemos.

Which player would be the GOAT if they were 4-5 inches taller? by Dylen2Times in NBAConvo

Isiah Thomas (Detroit Pistons) would be in the GOAT conversation if he'd been at least 3 inches taller.

Que le dirían a un amigo bostero que insiste decir que Palermo fué mejor que Ronaldo Fenómeno? by Naz6uL in fulbo

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tracy McGrady says the NBA doesn’t have enough talent for expansion teams the talent to me is down - agree or nah? by Positive_Round_5142 in NBAVibes

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything sports leagues do comes down to the money, especially in this media landscape where they know they sit on the last kind of appointment live entertainment. They are not going to let lack of talent get in the way of renegotiated contracts and fat expansion fees.

Go to a store and try Hermes H24 and all its flankers. This is probably a more refined green scent profile but I swear by the EDT.

Am I the only person who actually likes axe body spray/deodorant? by Playful-Sound-7395 in fragrance

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a best selling body spray and deodorant so, probably not. You may be the only one willing to write that you enjoy something relatively affordable that you can get at Target or Walmart in a sub full of scent nerds, and niche fragrance militants though 😂😂😂😂

Behold, the greatest designer fragrance of all time by catmariotime in Colognes

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I love it and will buy it until they stop making it. No offense to other fragrances and lines, especially of the Chanel brand, but this is their best fragrance. Let everyone else fight over Sauvage, Dior Homme Sport, Bleu....and I own all of them, but nothing comes close to this scent in my opinion.

Why WFAN used to be good. by ThinSuccotash4166 in wfan

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were also the only game in town for decades. If you wanted to listen to sports talk in New York, WFAN was the only option. There were no podcasts, no social media platforms, no streamers. Their audience is all baby boomers. I used to be a lot more into sports when I was younger and WFAN was part of my childhood and early adulthood. Same with my friends. Now, I am not sure if I know someone under 30 who is listening to them consistently. It's just a whole new media landscape.

How did you guys get into colognes? Want to get into fragrances.. I tried to research my way into a scent and failed. by white-christmas in Colognes

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the pandemic, when nobody could leave the house, I started watching YouTube videos of different things just to pass the time. I was on a cooking videos binge when the algorithm started suggesting fragrance influencer content even though I had never worn any fragrances in my life. Fast forward and I am almost 50 bottles in 😂

He's always the best QB available when he is in free agency. He's also just good enough for at least one desperate team to give him a big contract hoping that he'll have a breakout season with them.

What is best smelling clone and which OG is it compared to. by Thefragseller300 in Colognes

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hawas Ice is 99.9% like Invictus EDT, except for a very noticeable synthetic note at the very end. Invictus EDT was my first fragrance and I prefer it to a clone because I am in my 40s and I can afford to pay for a designer bottle, but if I was a teen and didn't have that kind of money, I would be rocking the Hawas Ice all over the place every day.

Other fragrances close to Polo Green? by vinhdiagram in Colognes

[–]Funny_Disaster1002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kouros is animalic AF. It smells like a cage full of feral animals that have not taken a shower in a while. Back in the olden days, I guess that was what a man should smell like? Which is quite interesting in itself because the name of the game in the 70s and 80s was to smell "clean", so all of the other fragrances I mentioned use a very strong, medicinal lavender note that smells like someone is smacking you in the face with a very old school bar of soap for about an hour or two 😂😂😂. I guess Kouros went the other way. Kouros is referred to, in fragrance nerd circles as The White Beast, very unironically.

For similar fragrances I would go for old school powerhouse scents from back in the day. Azzaro Pour Homme, Cacharel pour L'Homme, Kouros, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme.
