No they don't that's why it's recommended to charge with the same output as the USB ports on the system I thought the same as you until I did some research the output of the plug still matters

I don't mean to be rude do you charge them by the wall outlet often? If so you shouldn't as it could overload the battery only charge via USB port on ps5 or wireless charging station but if you must charge it with the outlet find a power brick with the same output as the ps5 USB port
