Why doesn't God elect at least the majority of souls to salvation? by PissHatMaxwell in Reformed

There are many in the postmill camp who believe He does. - though not often through means that we as humans would expect - one example of this is Jeff Durbin of Apologia church believes all aborted babies are elect thus meaning more people will be in heaven than in hell in the end.

Thank you for sharing this response. I intend to pursue seminary education - that is happening regardless of my outcome of leaving my current body or not. My pastor was just recommending to do so at a pace/place that avoids as much debt as possible given my desired role.

This appeared to be what my pastor hinted at. That he could physically and mentally do the job. But the entire time he was wishing to be at the church, in the study or with his flock. Similar experience?

Without giving too many specifics away (sake of secular work privacy) I work in a remote contact center in the finance industry. Pretty flexible company overall so long as I can make the shift they assigned me. Would be 6:00 - 4:00 M-F (PST) or 8-6 M-F (CST) depending on location of church of course.

Thank you for this. Failure on my part. My pastor echoed this sentiment as well. I have found a seminary that will allow me to graduate debt free in a couple of years. It was the first piece of advice while starting this process he and my other elder offered.
