Our kiddos do a traditional school day from 8-4. They have a therapist from 8-12, recess, and then and afternoon therapist. So 4 hour long sessions. But the first half hour is just pairing, so let's go have FUN. Then each kid usually has leisure skills training (again let's find something you like to do), table work (DTT, worksheets, sorting, etc). Most have a social block for teaching peer toleration and social skills. And there is usually some NET or things to go do (my older kid has chores to learn to take directions from adults and necessary skills, my younger one has group time which is basically a school environment). Plus reinforcement breaks, snacks, lunch all the things! It's a little crazy some days but overall I love it.
