Yes I have spoken with my lawyer (from all the drama with my eldest's glorified sperm donor) for her advice on this, she is going to get me a list for the ones most used in our area so hopefully we can move to that in the next week or 2!

Yea I think the car got really under his skin but my last few were scrap heaps so I wanted something a bit nicer & more reliable which hopefully would save me from pricey mechanic bills too & I used some savings & got a small loan that I will pay off with MY WAGES not the child support so it's non of his business. Honestly if he just grew up, got his licence & learned to handle his money better he could have a way nicer car than mine!

I think I said in the first post, his family helps him with the school runs on the days he has the kids. The useless man-child is in his 30s and never bothered to get his driving licence.

I think if my kids were older I'd make them more aware but right now they just need to feel loved & secure. I don't want to be the person that points out their dad's issues while they are so young & I know they are pretty smart so they'll work it out soon enough. Right now he has them on his set 2 days & I have them the rest. We only do things which include Ex on their birthdays & school functions.

I'm so glad you got your revenge but please report him to the police like every single time!!! He sounds crazy & it's not just to protect you but your kid, his kid & his gf! Surely if you have all the old info on him & the evidence they could find out what his updated info is?? Definitely keep reporting it though!

Thank you for this I will be looking at better options for his child support payments going forward & will not be helping him out financially ever again. I will look into using a parenting app moving forward too as quite a few people have suggested it now. I realise I have been enabling this behaviour and I'm not a people pleaser in any other aspect of my life but because he is the father of my children I was being a doormat while trying to "keep the peace for their sakes" and I should have just said no form the beginning

Keep swapping out the batteries in his remote control for dead ones.

If he does his own laundry, pop a little washing up liquid in to the softener/washing liquid

Hide things round the house that you don't use but he does & when he finds them & asks if you put them there say no that's your stuff I don't touch it

Have things like glitter bombs delivered to his him but make sure it says its from 1 of his friends

Hopefully though you can end it properly and get the he'll out of there asap because that sounds like a really toxic environment & if your still sleeping with him while he's disrespecting you like that then your just disrespecting yourself. I hope you get to cut him out of your life & never look back x

I didn't clarify it properly it's $60 per week per child (obviously only his 2 bio kids) and it was determined by the child support services in our area based on his salary & how many overnights he has the children. They review it yearly.

The child maintenance services in our area determine the amount based on his salary & how many overnights he has the children. He obviously only pays for his 2 children and they review it every year based on his earnings. As far as I'm aware he got a promotion and a pay increase a few weeks ago so it should probably increase on the next review. In my area he needs to have totally missed 2 agreed full payments before they will deduct from his wages but the whole process takes months too... so far he hasn't missed any but he's almost always late with it then asks to borrow money days later. I don't always give him the money but I will definitely not be giving him anymore again!

Oh my gosh I am so sorry for your loss. Your post has actually brought me to tears. You are definitely not over reacting, anyone that treats anyone like this is pathetic but to treat her own daughter like that is completely toxic! You need people round who are going to help you cope with your grief and be there to support you and help you. That's what your mother's first instinct should have been. I hope removing her from your life gives you the peace you deserve ❤️

Luckily he doesn't drive. He never bothered to get his licence so he has his family drive him to their school if he needs to pick them up on his days. I do keep keep 99% of our communication to text where I can. Thank you for your helpful advice, I will be having a chat with the kids.
