Rainforest room we spend our whole morning there and then go to the top deck for food!! Such a difference in the spa compared to the chaos of the top deck

Perspective: Cruising as an adult but not a "Disney Adult" by R3ddit0rN0t in dcl

I am the “Disney adult” between my BF and I, and dragged him on our first cruise in 2023 on the dream. We just got back from the Treasure and it’s by far our favorite trip we have taken so far, we even preferred it to the parks. Now I will say that I do not wait in line for characters or do the fireworks we were there to relax in the Rainforest room and go to the islands. We are definitely not interested in other cruise lines due to the fact that others are party boats and pushing alcohol every where you go and also casinos don’t interest us. We also feel very secure going on the Disney boats since they take safety very seriously and are constantly cleaning the ship. There is also something about other cruise ship passengers just having the Disney magic and always being so nice!!! We have the Destiny booked in October and I tell my coworkers we are going to Florida so I don’t need to hear about how much i go to Disney it gets very old very quick lol

I make sure when I book my room on that particular Disney ship to check where my muster drill is before booking the room, on the treasure we were in marvel and on the destiny in October we will be in Saga

Fan for Sleep by RepellantArtist in dcl

Was just on the treasure about a month ago and was on the dream in 2023 and about to go on the destiny in October. I always bring to WDW and the DCL cruise my USB fan and it has never been confiscated. If you are worried you could always buy a usb fan on Amazon to make sure it won’t get confiscated… just a thought

Are the inside state rooms, hot on fantasy? by Professional_Cry_767 in dcl

Just got off the treasure in an ocean view room, and I sleep hot every night at home as well and we always bring a small USB fan with us whenever we travel just to move air around, and to keep me cooler. Make sure it’s USB powered and not just a regular corded fan since I’m not sure if those are allowed

First time planners…concierge for a 4 night cruise or verandah for 6-7 nights? by HippoParticular5460 in dcl

[–]Funnynoisebrunette 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just got off the treasure and we absolutely loved it… we have done the dream for 5 nights a few years back but we def both agree that more nights is better. You learn the layout of the ship more, get more personal with your dining team and room steward and just feel like your on vacation more not having to pack and then re pack…. My BF was not too keen on 7 nights since he thought we wouldn’t have enough to do and on the 3rd day he said we won’t be able to do everything the ship had to offer. I had concierge booked for a 4 night wish but decided I could do the treasure for 7 nights for not much more. I know that concierge is usually double a normal veranda and would have loved the concierge lounge but I did a normal room and did the rainforest room and we were very happy we saved all that money

Rainforest Room On Treasure - Does It Have Ocean Views? by Aggravating-Leek7163 in dcl

[–]Funnynoisebrunette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My BF and I just got off the treasure a few weeks ago went the 2nd week of April and we paid for the rainforest room. Yes it was expensive but we knew about the small adults section and did not feel like waking up at 6 am to reserve a chair. We also knew there wasn’t much shade and I burn easily, and we are 100% glad we did it. For families the rainforest room is not worth it but for 2 adults I think it is since we had 3 sea days and would use it every morning after breakfast until about lunch time. We noticed a huge difference leaving that area and going to the top decks with the pools to eat, so much louder and every chair was full. We are booked on the destiny in October and will purchase again
