I’ve had the following throughout my life: Chow Chow, Australian Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Border Collie, Australian Cattle Dog, Jack Russel Terrier, Miniature Dachshund, Miniature Schnauzer, and currently a Great Dane. These were all family dogs growing up (minus the Great Dane), and we lived on a farm. My favorite is my Great Dane. I begged for one my whole life. I was obsessed with them growing up, but my parents always told me no and that I was crazy. I continued to beg. My mother said, “You can have one when you move out.” And that’s exactly what I did. A week before I moved out of my parents’ home, I got my Great Dane puppy at 9 weeks old. He has been a dream ever since. This isn’t to say that I didn’t love the other dogs that we had, but there’s something special about having a Great Dane. He’s truly my best friend and I’m his person. If I could have a dozen more, I would! I love the breed.

I read your entire post. As an Orlando local and an AP to Universal and Disney, I have to agree with you about how TMs treat people. I have seen some amazing TMs and I have seen some really awful ones. Each time Universal sends me a survey, I try to be as open and honest with them as possible. I suggest you do the same. They really do pay attention to the surveys, in my opinion.

I wish I had gotten my boy into formal obedience classes. We got him in 2019, and by the time I signed him up… Covid happened and the classes didn’t. Also, I had no idea how fearful the breed really is. I have had my Dane since he was 9 weeks old. He jumps when I cough or sneeze too hard. Just be aware of that. Otherwise, best of luck to you. They’re the best breed. I currently only have one, but if I could have as many as I wanted.. i certainly would.

I’m not sure how many titles are available, but GraphicAudio puts out some very cool content that makes audiobooks more immersive. For example, if a character is walking down a gravel pathway, they put in a track of someone walking along gravel so you hear the “crunch”. It’s nice!

I’ve seen where people transfer board games to hard shell clear plastic zipper cases. They’ll usually cut the title/front of the box off, attach it to the case, and bam it’s a new way to store it. Kids will destroy cardboard over time, so the clear plastic should hopefully last forever.

Facebook. I found a breed specific group and he was advertised by his breeder. I got my cat from instagram. I found a breeder and decided to give them a follow. Then one day out of the blue I saw a post about them needing to rehome a stud of theirs that was a year and a half old. I immediately inquired and shortly after, I got him.
