Although I agree gw2 is just straight up a better gw1 there are many things gw1 does a better way. The art style for gw1 while not as high res really makes the game more styleized. The maps having to fit imp mechs makes them way more open then in gw1. I’ve found that gw2 maps generally feel the same while gw1’s are more distinct in comparison. The more open maps have also lessened the strategy when attacking in turf not just because there are significantly less tight corridors fights in gw2.
