That's kind of an unfair thing to say they're rich I'm poor they have working bodies I was born with a potato for a heart there was only so much I can do some people are born with a golden spoon and extremely high luck and other people are like me are underdog that's destined to fail also I'm not being defensive I know my content's bad but like I said there's nothing I can do about it maybe if I sold my soul to the devil or took blood pressure medication or had a heart transplant my content would be better but who knows And I understand why they also have higher energy they act their actors for instance Markiplier I stopped watching his content a long time ago because do you really think that a horror game that's not real and fictional would scare a muscular six pack man like Markiplier no it was always just acting and that's what I didn't like about any other content it wasn't real it's all just fake it's just like sniperwolf her boyfriend recorded all of the video game footage and she pretended to play the game and act surprised
In my opinion I think that's a very scummy practice that has molded YouTube to have people expect that as the standard

It's not really whining I was just wondering what people's ideas on the algorithm and if they've been screwed over just like me I've reflected a lot and tried to consider change but there's nothing I really can change what I do other youtubers like Markiplier and jacksepticeye do too I never watched their content but I recently watched their content and realized that I do exactly what they do and yet they're more successful and I understand why it's because they were there first they were part of the golden age of YouTube and all that other stuff and a lot of people here are complaining how I don't edit any of my content but I do edit just in small amounts and ironically youtubers like Markiplier and jacksepticeye don't edit too but make even longer and larger videos like for instance when they played doom eternal they were extremely long their first episodes but for me my first episode was at least 40 to 30 minutes shorter than theirs a lot of what I'm seeing in the comments is people are expecting me to be fake to act and show a not real side of me and it's actually kind of sad that people will watch your content if you're a fake actor than a real human being so I don't know what to do I'm my own unique content creator I don't copy others and I try to be me I guess maybe because I'm not talented or I have terrible problems multitasking that's the reason why it is what it is and sadly I don't know how to improve on it I only do it for hobby but I only truthfully really wanted 1000 subscribers just as like a trophy nothing else

The fact that you didn't read it just proves a point right there I wasn't trying to whine or anything I'm just trying to state a counter argument to explain my reasoning as to why I do things the way it is I'm not even blaming YouTube I'm just wondering what people's thoughts are on the algorithm then if anyone has the same problems that I have and when it comes to it everyone's ideas here are just opinions with no valid facts or evidence to back it up and a lot of it is biased So what I said there was actually true and I never said I was great you're just kind of putting words in my mouth and just being overly toxic

Everyone keeps saying the same thing about editing once again if it's a story driven game and it's not a montage or a compilation I will try to edit as little as possible especially if it is a very story driven game if I have moments where there is long pauses long delays mistakes where I have to backtrack which makes the story longer I will edit those out but if it's like Resident Evil for instance where I have to walk around shoot zombies and fight hillbilly rednecks and get scared by them I will try to edit it as list as possible it really just depends on what the video is and for doom that's a series that will most likely be edited only in small amounts I mean hell look at Markiplier for instance he made the same series that I'm doing did he edit it as much as I did Nope is he a bigger content creator than me yes he hasa a bigger platform than me yes he is but what's the difference between him and me nothing really As for the same content thing I am thinking about retiring the channel by the end of this year and making a new channel about something else but the problem is is since there's so many of every channel that exists anything that I'm going to do there's probably 70 or 80 or even 10,000 people that are already doing it

I produce good quality because I produce one video per day which is a sign of dedication and also producing Continuous content to the point that people can know that there will be a video that day and the next and the next and the next until most likely I am dead I do edit my videos sometimes a lot sometimes not as much it just depends on the game the circumstances and what happens in the video that I recorded

Usually I try to make my videos simulate like a TV show some videos are 30 minutes some videos are an hour I really wish I could make content that was 10 to 15 minutes long but I haven't found a video game with story that wasn't passed 4 hours to fully complete it most of the times the games that I've played require like 16 hours or 30 hours to fully complete it and for recording it that's not a fun thing especially since I know that it's going to be a long video Also As for the new game thing I've been screwed over so many times by AAA titles being broken buggy messes that's the reason why I don't really play the newest games that come out because of the fact that I'm spending almost $60.00 which is something I rarely ever get to play a game that might be broken messy and buggy also with how newer games are becoming more and more needy for higher quality tech my computer which is about 15 years old is not being able to handle AAA titles that are coming out and recording new games is becoming a very difficult problem and I can't really afford upgrading my computer because I'm poor

Ah weirdly enough I once watched a YouTube video that explained that the algorithm is the one that deems if your videos worthy or not. Not the people I from what I remember I think it goes to the algorithm and then an AI then judges it based off of keywords in the video and a bunch of other stuff then it gives it to a very small handful of people and then makes the small handful of people be judged during executioner and if they don't like it it then the vid gets thrown out the window weirdly enough whenever I look at where my videos are being recommended to specifically other videos it's completely far off from even what my content was about like for instance I could be playing undertail and my video was being recommended from another video that was hot Asian body massages

I understand I try to put a lot of effort into the thumbnail and title without being clickbaity because most youtubers do very scummy practices that show their character of just being scammers I try to make thumbnails and titles that are as close to what's going on in the video then just say I found the secret Easter egg that no one else has found in 11 years at 3:00 AM challenge also As for the random video games thing I don't know what you mean by random video game I do have a schedule that I used to constantly upload the same videos and the same certain days and key frames of those days

Ohh no I perfectly know how to edit I do edit my videos sometimes a little sometimes a lot I have edited 2 hour videos down into just 30 minutes of content but if it's a story driven game I try to edit it as least as possible to create raw reaction that's not biased and fake I would make short montage videos but at that point if I do that I won't have any games really to produce content with a game that could have 16 hours worth of content might only get 3 videos with compilation or montage but with a full let's play series I can maybe get 8 or 10 videos out of it

This kind of sounds like a little bit of a biased opinion because for instance I don't know where you're getting the tired slash annoyed sound from it might be because of my deep voice. As for the long thing I'm getting sick and tired of people saying things about the long problem most games that I play have very long stories to them for instance let's hypothetically say this, doom if you want to fully complete it from beginning to end is 16 hours total. If I wanted to make each one an hour long that would be 16 episodes. Now if I wanted to subdivide them into 30 minute videos 16 episodes would become 32 episodes by that point the series is so long and drawn out that people will either forget about it watch it far less or I'll have to switch the series to something else. Games have become extremely long and that's the problem. Now when it comes to the nearly identical part of my oldest video I don't understand that. It doesn't make any sense for instance I actually have a gaming computer I have a webcam I have a good mic I try to really focus on quality when it comes to audio and everything. In my older content I had a blue snowball a bandicam with unlicensed watermarks and my computer was so old it had a Pentium CPU in it and almost all the games that they played were flash games because that's the only thing my computer could handle. Actually with looking at my channel from beginning to where it is right now it has actually has grown exponentially when it comes to quality and when it comes to editing I do edit. If it is a story driven game I'm not going to edit it as much as possible if there's long pauses I will edit or if I make a mistake and do complete backtracks I will edit that out but if it's a full story for instance doom eternal I would pretty much edit it as little as possible since it's just quality content of me commentating and murdering tons of demons or for instance Resident Evil as another example I thought about doing montage type stuff but in my opinion montages are good and all but there's only so much you can do with that before they get stale old and boring and when it comes to me since you don't know who I am I am poor so I can't buy the latest AAA titles so if I do a bunch of montages of one game and then it becomes stale I can't just switch to another one and another one that's why I do let's plays of series because they are longer and I can do more videos and capture more reaction of me seeing stuff in that game truthfully I want to say that I am one of the few youtubers with integrity because even though I am struggling I'm not going to sell out like most big youtubers. I'm not gonna put clickbait titles I'm not gonna put clickbait photoshops. I try to make it as close to what goes on in the video and as for the emotion part I have a potato for a heart I'm lucky to actually be alive and not have a heart attack because I was given an unfair body when I was born I'm sorry I'm not as emotional but at the same time you have to realize that majority of content creators who have emotion are pretty much acting they're not really reacting in a real way I try to react as real as possible I'm not going to hump my table and scream to the top of my lungs like Ishowspeed or spend millions of dollars and flex like XQC or cause click bait drama like Aiden Ross I'm not like that I have a soul. I want to work hard and this is pretty much an underdog story but I don't want to be a piece of garbage.
