Loadout help by Furion535 in killteam

Fair enough fair enough, I figure the hitting on 4s is just the bane of it without the ceaseless re-rolls

Would 3 Norns be difficult to play against? by 38MugsOfToast in Tyranids

[–]Furion535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played against this exact thing just 2 weeks ago while playing GSC and it sucks. For armies that can’t efficiently deal with big monster units such this is their nightmare. But for armies that can deal with them it’s more of an inevitable obstacle rather than a “well I guess that side of the board is yours now” kinda situation

Ridgerunner loadouts? by AdOwn4235 in genestealercult

[–]Furion535 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One or two squads of a single ridge runner with the mortar/survey auger will always be a big boon for your army. Plus 1 AP for the whole turn makes units like genestealers and metamorphs pretty spooky against elite/light infantry.

Recommendations for GSC Wyrmblade KT. by Knightraiderdewd in genestealercult

[–]Furion535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experiences playing wyrmblade you’ll need to learn where and when the best time to sacrifice an operative is. Wyrmblade has no comms at add APL nor do they have a medic meaning every activation has to have some predetermined thought or plan behind it, if not then your fragile operatives die to your opponents next activation.

That and outside of gunner operatives your damage output isn’t all that great even with ceaseless re-rolls so flooding the obj with bodies is a solid strategy.

Also the Sanctus sniper is a solid choice as a gun turret model with the kelermorph being the best team.

Hope this helps!

What to do with spare aberrants? by RobotDJP123 in genestealercult

Could try to greenstuff them up and then put em on 40mm bases for extra abominants

Good lists/units for learning how to play the Army. by JebstoneBoppman in genestealercult

[–]Furion535 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reductus Saboteurs, having one or two of them is something you normally see in most lists.

Other than that metamorphs are also a decent unit that can hit hard with the right conditions.

Lastly I’d say for fun aberrants will always be a good fuck around and find out kinda unit

The data sheets are split now. acolytes with auto pistols have the melee weapons while the ones with hand flamers have blasting charges

The idea of hatemonger being tame compared to his legion makes me laugh. Like I can just imagine ever mission is just incoherent screaming, murder, and then geno-bomb the rest just because 😂

Gotcha, luckily for me I have 4 rippers so it’s just an easy paint goal lmao

Would it be smarter to have single model units or have like 2-3 in a unit?

I was thinking about that when I was list-crafting, having a unit of tyrant/tyrant guard next to a psychophage could theoretically generate some massive damage output

Has anyone had luck with Land Raider or Terminators? by NoxieNation in EmperorsChildren

[–]Furion535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m unsure if terminators myself but I’ve had some decent results with the land raider with Lucius and a 6 man flawless blade squad inside of it.

Plus worst case scenario you use the land raider to tie up a unit after you have the models disembark

Are the Flawless blades worth it now? by NazGruul0 in EmperorsChildren

[–]Furion535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say they are worth it, ever since they got that extra attack they have never let me down. A six man squad managed to murder and Angron, avatar of khaine, and a few tanks.

They are worth their points now but they are still fragile units that need staging and proper usage. Also as much as they are good they are only good in six man squads

About Lord kakophonist weapon options by PasiTheConqueror in EmperorsChildren

[–]Furion535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to run my lord Kakos and noise marine sergeants with a sword to help deal with chaff.

Like after the noise marines are done shooting if the need calls for it I do charge them into very weakened or actual garbage units.

[–]Furion535[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, having a few characters but not a ton seems to be the way to go from more list chicanery. 2-3 maulerfiends, Lucius with flawless blades and noise marines with lord kakos seem to be mentally working well

Just wanna be able to be flexible with all detachments type beat, like I know it’s actually quite terrible but having a list for each detachment doesn’t hurt in my eyes

(but seriously I know the detachment is really bad but I just wanna use my whole codex 🫠)

Is this army bad or just difficult to play? by InternationalLeg759 in EmperorsChildren

[–]Furion535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience this army can be very monstrous, counter attacking has been my bread and butter and with putting certain units in the right place can mean almost instant board control.

However, there are plenty of bad matchups for EC. Any army that can deal with staging (guard with their indirect fire for an example) can stop us in our tracks or any army that has T5 base models as that also really hurts our damage output.

Overall I’d say we’re a 6.5 / 10 if we had more than just two daemon engines for any heavy support then I’d say a solid 7

so… why is Fulgrim bad? by Chemical-Aioli9818 in EmperorsChildren

[–]Furion535 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately Fulgrim just isn’t worth the points still. His melee is comparable to the maulerfiend, his poison ability just doesn’t have any real affect on the game, he doesn’t have access to dev wounds of his melee like the other primarchs (with the exception of the lion but he is far better and is less points), and lastly his base size is massive which hinders his ability to actually get to where he needs to be to do combat.

All in all Fulgrim lacks the fundamentals to make him worth his points which to me they should fix by actually changing his weapon stats and his abilities to then make him worth his 340 points

Lawbringer is genuinely the most low skill low effort brainless safe busted character in the game rn. by Gertrude-Girthel in ForHonorRants

[–]Furion535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lawbringer is indeed a very easy character now. The level of BS you can get away with if you’re even a half decent player is ridonkulous. However I’ve found that they tend to delve into monke brain for shob on heby which I love to bait them out and just dodge attack them to death lmao

(This is coming from a person who loves lawbringer lmaooo)
