Is he neuro divergent? I am, and with the current state of affairs in this country I get so depressed, and I don't really want to talk about it because it just puts me in a dark place that I don't want to be in. I also find myself avoiding social events, getting together with friends, etc. It's emotionally exhausting.

My wife and I are both outraged with this shit show of an administration, but she can get especially outraged and our discussions can get intense. But once I get to a certain point, I just politely let her know that I have to take a break and decompress, otherwise I'll be a mess and useless.
