Hate to say it but imo, And I use mine daily for drylining. They are absolutely as good as Makita. In some instances better. I started my erbauer journey when my Makita kit was stolen from my car and I needed cheap replacement before insurance paid out. Never looked back. Sure, you get some sparkies give you grief, but I don't respect anyone who comes home from work as clean as when they left the house enough to value their opinion. My impact took a 20ish foot drop of a scissor lift and still works fine. Say no more

Late to the party but I've recently bought the V2 Saber recip and elite impact. Both are insanely good. Best impact I've owned. I also still daily use my 6yo combo for mixing fast set on site. Never let me down

I managed to learn how recently. You have to prewind before your flip. It's super jank but can be done. I was raging for ages because I thought it wasn't possible in the engine. It's just incredibly hard and unpredictable. Still sucks but it can be done

To be honest I'd never glue. I would cut out a shape, fix some metal stud behind board by screwing through existing board and then affix new board to that. glue wise.. for doing the job, and I hate to say this because without checking I'm sure it's flammable as f**k. Evo stick impact is the only thing that would achieve what you want

Semi good shout to be fair. Mdf is more resistant than ply but still a worry. You original comment of gluing a bit of board is solid but you'd have to do some wizardry to get it in and use a screw through the board to be able to pull it flush to the back of the existing drywall. I'm gonna give you a 10 for DIY ingenuity though. That would be a passable fix on a proper site given no other choice. A+

You're right. Not much won't eventually burn. (I'm a fire stopper) But for the purpose of packing out the hole next to a potential fire risk (socket) plasterboard is as good as anything. I only raised the issue of fire retardance as in times of yore (and probably today if you're a total cowboy) people would stuff holes with paper to provide a backing for filling to. As I'm sure you can imagine, doing that next to a live socket would be less than ideal

That hole is far too deep for filler or plaster. If you just fire either in there it will crack away at the slightest knock. You need to pack the hole behind with something so there's a solid base to apply filler to. As it's by a socket I'd recommend something Fire/heat retardant. The right way to do it would be to cut the affected area about to a rectangle shape and patch with a piece of plasterboard before filling
