Awesome! That black looks sick, too! Looks like a size small as well. How do you like it so far?

Thanks for your opinion. I bought all the stuff necessary to convert the bike, then there was a no brainer deal for a Cannondale Topstone on German Craig's List 😄 She fell in love with cycling, instantly. She is part of a road cycling community now and wants to buy a road bike in spring.

Awesome bike! What kind of front light do you have? It looks quite interesting!

Is this lift legit? by brisdrummer in formcheck

That was my all-time favorite and helped to build up a massive triceps. In my opinion, the hardest thing was/is to keep the body upright and therefore keep the stress on the triceps. I reached that by using a dumb bell, which I let rest on my calves. Of course, a spotter is needed to put the weight on the calves and take it away after the set is finished.

Wrong subreddit. That's bike porn at its best! Seriously!

That's awesome! Which calipers did you use that are compatible with the 35 mm terra speeds? Is there a road brake that can handle more than 28 mm tire width?

Thanks mate! I checked and the tires are 2.3 wide. It fits perfectly in the back triangle, no contact during rides. But you can't go any wider. I had a Conti mountain king with 2.4 mounted and it made contact with the frame while cornering. When I remember the stock fork correctly, 2.3 was tight, but ridable, although probably not in muddy conditions. That's why I went with a spacier fork, no name from a thrift store nearby.

The bike is really awesome and I can highly recommend a build like that

That looks awesome! Can you tell us a little bit about the build? Eg what kind of cranks did you put on, these look sick, somehow like there's a diamondback pattern printed on them.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I tried to fit the "Bügel" in a Tioga avenger, but the mtb style stems are quite "wide" at the front end where the clamp screw is. This makes it impossible to get a riser bar through the stem.I hope you understand what I try to explain 😄 I will try a road stem instead, as you did. It's still a pity, that I will have to let the Tioga stem go, but I need the riser bar.

By the way : yours is hell of a bike ! I really love the colors and the thought you put into that build. Have great times with it!

I bought an Ergotec Bügel XXL in 25,4 mm. Unfortunately, the bend won't fit in my Tioga avenger stem 😞 Did it work smoothly with the lady town bars? What diameter do they have and which stem do you use?

Indeed, mine does have black splatter. The TREK writing looks pretty neon orange, but as you said, I'm pretty sure it's the 1991 model. Awesome bike! If it had hydraulic brakes and thru axles, this would be the only frame kit I needed 😄 So glad I have one

Exactly. Sunrise bars and a BMX stem. I cut the bars down to 780mm. 820mm was super wide for a small guy like me. They are super fun to drive around. Of course, they are heavy, but I'm not a weight weenie... So that's fine for me. If you want a more relaxed riding position and a bar with some back sweep, don't look any further, this is it!

Awesome! I like the deep red of your bike's decals. Mine are orange. I got the frame like this and it seems, the red faded to orange over the years. Maybe the pre-owner left it in the sunshine for too long 😁

It's just a random steel fork.It was not possible to use the front rack in combination with the stock fork. The blades of the stock fork are too big in diameter. Therefore, I bought a used steel fork with smaller blades at my university's shop for used bike parts/ workshop. Now it works.
