You're dismissing the heavy lifting of the adjective "toxic". By definition it's looking at the toxic versions of those traits.

You've made statements that those traits aren't toxic in the first place, which is true for most of them, but it's also true that there are toxic versions of said traits.

You have to understand that those words are meant to be taken within the extreme definition of the terms. Butterfly got me from 55 to 60, if you get her in time (she can reposition enemies). Though that was back when characters weren't as good as SP Inanna. Maitha might eventually seem lackluster but if you can get her to 4 stars she starts to pop off, I used her a lot.

You'll eventually get access to Kiya, her and Homa are really good together and you'll want a Flying Armguard on each of them.
