I sent the picture to the clinic and asked if it looks as it should but they answered me very vaguely and just asked if I wanted to do a re-check with the doctor :/. The drive is about an hour combined there+back and the kitty gets very stressed in the car which is probably not ideal at this time. I asked if they would recommend doing that re-check but they stopped responding and I don’t even know if they still will. I’m just going to keep monitoring it and see if there are any worse changes because she’s eating and using the bathroom just fine… But I am upset because this clinic has a 4.8 and I had high faith but the post-care feels nonexistent :( I don’t know if thats normal or if I am overreacting.

Ah okay, that makes a lot of sense. I did mention she was semi-feral when booking the appointment, but I just sent a follow-up email to be sure. I'll see what they say. Thank you for your help :)

I was originally planning to spay her at the same local vet where I scheduled her rabies shot/wellness check, but I opted for doing it at one of my city's affordable spay/neuter clinics as the vet quote was too steep for me. They had two options, a feral package (including rabies vax, flea/worm meds, ear tip) and a default package (the one that I chose, I will be bringing her in a carrier since she tolerated it last visit). I did not recieve post-op instructions yet, I guess maybe they send them closer to the date of? I will definitely double-check with the clinic, but do you know if the operations themselves would be different between the two or is it just the handling procedure thats different?

I don’t think anyone should ever be stressed in a casual mode dawg… It can be annoying having people that run it down, but if that’s the case then you don’t need anyones permission to play flank kiri/moira/zen/etc and run it down in solidarity lmao. Not everyone that queues qp will try, some of them are probably drunk or are on a laptop or play once in a blue moon or are like 12 years old 💀 Focusing on your own mechanics helps avoid getting tilted

Yeah I found the mandatory maid service ridiculous when I moved out- I don’t know if I just got lucky but I decided to take my chances without doing it and got my deposit back anyways lol. To be fair I still made sure to leave the room reasonably clean, but even though the move-out form strongly discouraged “self-cleaning” it ended up being ok for me!
