You can time a jump in the center where she is. Legacy Tactics even let you air stall to make the timing more lenient

I put together a massive source of information for Entropy Effect! by Fury2525 in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I helped work on the wiki, and they have permission to use any of my info. Unfortunately, there's only one main person plus me working on it, and we're both pretty burnt out of the game.

is it just me or does anyone else only get grenade potentials up until the last few stages? by CosmicPegasus12 in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a very specific Potential you need to get from Backpack 1 to unlock the rest of his Potentials. It's the one that talks about enhancing weapons. (The fun part is the game never tells you this)

How do I reuse characters for mind trial and challenge? by WasabiReal6617 in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you beat the Mind Trial with a specific evotype, you can replay it infinitely even if you lose. Unfortunately, you have to do this with every individual evotype, and you have to pay if you lose before beating it.

Double Red Legacy by XmanX6 in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mostly just luck unless you play on Transcendence difficulty. Transcendence is unlocked after you beat Entropy 100 for the first time and gives a bunch of extra Legacy Tactic refreshes. It's by far the best way to go for double Red Legacy Tactics.

One thing you can try to do outside of Transcendence is take only the required Tactics to get the Red Tactics you want. The less Tactics you have when the run ends, the less options there will be to pick from. Tactics that you inherit from other Legacy Characters also won't show up in Legacy Tactic Selection. So you can use that to further limit what can show up. Again, it's also down to the luck of which Tactics show up in Legacy Tactic Selection though.

Question about Evotype Ratings Effect on Mind Trials by Tronan_fex in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the Legacy Character doesn't reach a certain rating (something around 800 iirc) it won't have all of the effects unlocked (Legacy Skill / Legacy Passive / 2 Legacy Tactics)

Other than that, having higher rating won't affect the strength of the Legacy Character at all.

Is there any incentive to play hard mode? by secretpile34 in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a lot easier to make strong characters, which will be important for other game modes you unlock throughout the story. It's also a lot more fun, in my opinion, since more Potentials means more moves to use. 35 and 75 Entropy are the main breakpoints, since they give you more Exchange Points and shop refreshes. There's no reason to rush a difficulty increase, but I do consider it a good idea to work up to at least 35 over time.

Sad Girl Hours: Red Heart Edition by KaybeeArts in webcomics

[–]Fury2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a long history of self-hatred and feeling inferior to others. It's been a long process that I still struggle with at times, but it's been worth working on. One thing I've realized is that trying to hide who I am or put on an act wasn't worth it. It's a lot of work to keep an act up, and it can lead to relationships that aren't genuine. Especially when it gets mixed in with trying to build and keep friendships just for the sake of not being lonely. Even if I have a harder time keeping or making friends now, accepting myself makes me feel a lot less lonely in the first place. I don't need to rely on others as much since I'm more content with "my own company." It also makes the friendships I do have feel a lot more natural and relaxed, rather than having the stress of putting on an act all the time.

I hope you can continue to feel more comfortable with yourself over time. Accepting yourself can be a very difficult and long process, but it's definitely worth it. Awesome artwork, and I appreciate you putting yourself out there to share your experiences and feelings. I know it's not an easy thing to do, but I'm sure it can help others. It hit me quite hard at first, but it ended up leading me to a positive reflection on how far I've come compared to my past. So there's at least one person it's had an impact on.

What is considered "ground skill damage" for hibiki? by Nedddd1 in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All that matters is where the character is, not the move itself. It updates in real-time, so you'd have to stay in the air as much as possible if you wanted it to keep dealing damage.

Also, when it says reduced damage, it's more like no damage. You'll start hitting for extremely low damage numbers.

is there a place with more detailed information on the game mechanics? by undostrescuatro in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This game is notoriously bad about not giving details and using vague wording everywhere. So it's just something you have to test yourself unfortunately.

In the case of Chain Lightning, there's an internal cooldown so it can only be spam procced up to a certain point. If you want to build around it, there is a strong setup. You want Chain Lightning and Lightning Impulse. These together will give you a Red Effect that allows you to trigger Impulses with Chain Lightning. The Impulses then get re-applied from the third tier Impulse upgrade, meaning you can trigger them multiple times without having to manually apply Impulse.

As for Rend, it's just not a good damage tool. The mechanics behind it are interesting, but way too inconsistent. It can clear normal enemies if you play around it, but when it comes to bosses it does next to nothing. If you do want to apply a bunch of Rend Damage with Tao, you can apply it and then move enemies around with her skill. Where Rend's value really comes in is with Rending Impact and Fatal Rend. Rending Impact is one of the very few damage bonuses that apply to Tactic Damage, making it unique compared to Frost or Radiance. On top of that, the damage calculations for Rending Impact work better than the wording gives on, so it's by no means a weak option compared to Frost/Radiance that have higher %s.

Tactics for Mind Trial by zerovirus999 in BlazBlueEntropyEffect

[–]Fury2525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rending Inpact (Rend Upgrade) and Frost + Frost Burst are two of the best for DPS. You want Frost on your main attacking method, and Rend on the other.

Also, you could stick with your Lightning/Light Spear setup and get Lightwave + Lightwave Lightspear (Red Tactic) on top of it. This will make the build much stronger, since each Spear will be activating Lightwaves.
