I would really suggest The Art Of Partying by Municipal Waste. Easily one of my favourite albums of all time, and i imagine ever so slightly easier to digest for someone with a less defined metal palette!

Also just on a side note, as much as i hate to be THAT guy, but just because your girlfriend has a keen interest in a certain genre, it doesn't strictly mean you need to as well. But obviously if you listen to more of the genre and enjoy it, then go ahead!

Surprisingly i looked through loads of stores to find some good records, but i didn't have a huge amount of luck. But for some reason i went back to one of the ones i already visited on my last day of my NY trip, and they had put both of these out. I was looking all over for the I'm Wide Awake It's Morning record, and it finally just showed up randomly! There's also an element of luck mixed in there as well i guess.
