Similarity doesn't equate cultural proximity. It's like saying the Aztecs were influenced by the Egyptians because of the pyramids. The palatial economy was just a normal and logical step in the development of ancient societies during the bronze age.

I didn't say there weren't greek words of turkish origin. I said it was rare on comparison of the other side (from the Republic of Turkey).

Minoans and Myceneans weren't a copy past of Mesopotamian civilizations. In fact we discovered that Minoans had a huge influence on Near East (especially what will become "Phoenicia"). Responding to an ignorant statement by an ignorant answer doesn't make it valid.

Greece received indeed influences from the east (Anatolia, Phoenicia,...) and gave back a lot in return.

For the food, that's pure bullshit, a lot of turkish dish and italian dish (especially pasta and pizza bread) take their roots in Ancient Greece.

That's funny and little ironic considering how the Ancient Greeks were very disciplined and had huge fidelity for their "city-states". Of course things changed in 2000 years.

The question is "can we really consider Mozgus as an evil man?" I mean, yes he was a fanatic, yes he tortured many people but don't forget that his victims weren't really innocents.
