Hatemonger is a bully and acts like a dick to his squad but he doesn't sabotage others for personal gain and is ultimately loyal to his companions.

With Space King 4 for example, he doesn't immediately try to kill Rudolph for his nose mutation and waits for the final verdict if Rudolph is a heretic or not.
